Matthew Knies just scored the filthiest goal I've seen this year for Toronto. The first line was cooking tonight; he could have had five. Matthews body checking the rat Marchand was awesome too.

I only ever watch highlights with Joe Bowens commentary. We need to blow this man up. His roots are so imbedded with the leafs that nobody, nowhere, no how can come close to his man’s legendary history with this team. He has, and always will be the number one leafs commentator of all time. Ever since I was born, and I’m 41 years old now. What a great game.
@trs443716 күн бұрын
I agree. Always preferred Bowen to any others. The colour guy is pretty good too.
@Tomn8er16 күн бұрын
He's got a good voice and personality plus his iconic "Holy Mackinaw!" but the dude is old and regularly miscalls plays these days. At least once a game he'll say it hit the post when it went in, or vice versa. Not to mention the way he called Knies first goal - which was clearly an intentional and skilled tip - as though Matthews' shot accidentally bounced off his butt or something lol
@JamieChung-op1ri16 күн бұрын
The game just ended.. how? I’ve said it before and I will say it again; you by far have the best highlights! It beats Rogers or TSN. You’re like the score in its prime and are able to tell the story of the game including the fights, feuds or strange calls. The other big networks never do that. Sincerely appreciate it and why I subscribed.

@@teeflight I am an actual person but I have seen similar comments on other videos because … it’s true! JellyHD’s highlights are way better than TSN or Rogers . It reminds me of when score was in its prime and Sid,Cabbie and Tim used to do the highlights together. Tell a story not just the goals , I want to know what happened in the game. With TSN/ Rogers you would never know if a rivalry was brewing.

This is a game that the Leafs would've end up losing last season. The fact that the Leafs kept pushing every time Boston tied it is a sign of growth, i think. The Bruins also know that Woll is the toughest Leafs goalie they've faced in the last 10 yrs or so. Toronto would have won Game 7 last season if Woll was healthy enough to play.

What a great game. A lot of back and forth, but Matthew, I gotta say, Knies Hat Trick! Tavares coughed up a goal for Pasta, but the game was very intense. Honestly, one of the best Leafs vs Bruins in a while.
@jeffreycairns76716 күн бұрын
The Tavares, Nylander, Patches line was probably the worst line tonight. They were on the ice for most of the goals against and caused alot of bad turnovers
@peacebringer816 күн бұрын
@jeffreycairns767 yeah, second game in a row that Tavares gifts the opposition when trying to get out of his own zone. Last game, Woll saved him, but not gonna be as easy against Pasta. Marner's between the legs passes in our D zone were horrible too, but different than Tavares, he actually defends well against his own mistakes. But overall I felt the whole team was dialed. Second line had a pretty good amount of chances too, third line the same. Marner and Knies with 5 points each and Matthews with the effort goal, were all great. Hopefully this tones down the "we play better without Matthews" talks

One night it's "Great game, their winning the cup, players xyz are amazing and glad they're signed long term". The very next game when they lose "this team is so bad, they'll never win anything, players xyz are the worst and need to be traded NOW". Lots of complaints, like yours, after a win but almost zero anytime they lose. Then, it's all insults. 95% or more of the so called "fans" on social media are fair weather fans at best. But you'll tell me that you're not one of those people, right? Until the next loss
