This was actually a special one-shot intro for the Season 2 premiere that properly introduces John Stamos's shorter haircut (he actually got it cut near the end of wrapping up Season 1 and wore a wig resembling his old mullet, so they could write an episode introducing Jesse's shorter hair). So they wouldn't spoil it before the actual events of the episode, they came up with this special opening combining clips from the Season 1 intro and the standard Season 2 intro that would follow; the clip of the late Bob Saget at 0:23 is the first new Season 2 intro footage to appear. Plus, it's also a little jarring how it starts off with Michelle as a baby, only to then show her as a 2-year-old toddler at 0:37.

I think John Stamos was on Oprah in the summer of 1988 after he had his hair cut but don't quote me on that.

She is definitely so cute. I think actually heard that she hardly ever cried when on set during the actual making of the original “Full House”, even when she was just a baby and toddler. Making me miss the Olsen twins so much that while they never returned for the 2015 show where the kids had all grown up, I did hear at least Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen attended Bob Saget’s funeral.
