23:10 seeing the Bf-109 F4 Troupe, flying in formation ,and zig zagging to keep up with the bombers is beautiful. I love when @Fishyyy plays Malta and Convoy battle missions. One of my favourite theaters of WW2 !

Fishhy, may I make a suggestion? While in Iraq, several of my friends would create detailed, blind PVP/E missions. We'd form two teams (usually 2v2), and have a 5th member act as the Observer/Controller (O/C, similar to a D&D GM). The O/C would assign the target, designate attacker/defender teams and issue a balanced compliment of forces to each side consisting of fighters, bombers, AAA, etc. and the airfields/bases they launch from. The teams create their mission plans independently from each other, then submit the mission files to the O/C who ensures they are within the rules, then merges them into a single mission. The teams never get see each others plan. They only receive a sketchy intelligence report on the type and numbers of aircraft the other team has and otherwise enter the mission oblivious to the other's scheme of maneuver. The O/C hosts the mission, tracks target strikes, losses on both sides and determines the victor. In campaigns, he accounts for these losses when assigning forces for the next mission. This has resulted in some spectacular battles and blunders and is overall a lot of fun. It's especially hectic in naval battles where the teams are only marginally aware of each others fleet locations and the first mission is just trying to find each other. The first team to locate the opposite fleet is designated as the attacker on the next mission while other team still must work to locate the attacking team's fleet. It would be interesting to see a video of two sides going through their planning process then flying against each other. It would be a challenge to make, but would be fun. (EDIT: Added detail and cleaned up verbiage).

remember what Hartman said "Don't fire until the target fills your windshield." The 109 pilot is firing too far out. =) Great flying and fighting. Keep more videos coming.

Remember Hartmann was fighting real people with fallible situational awareness. He wasn't playing IL-2 1946 against AI that don't have blind spots.

Great video Fishyyy, truly one of my favorite. Excellent bombing, nice formation's (custom, or stock?). The best gunnery I've seen Mr Kito, your advanced flight training is very obvious, discipline, excellent SA, could easily be considered military. Nothing but love for you Fishyyy, but I'd fly Tony's wing any day! Stay Fishyyy and keep them coming;D

I have really high hopes for Il2 GB, that team works so hard to produce an extremely high quality product with almost everything going against them. It's just passion at this point because the money can't be worth it, I respect that a lot.

I really can't tell, it's been way too long. I know that I started of with the original game and that we got FB and PF later on, but I really don't remember the differences. When it comes to IL-2 versions I know 4.09 to 4.13, that's about it.

I miss the old times in Cliffs of Dover, with ACG :-( We had some nice missions going. Sometimes using full capabilities of the game. And most of the times, it worked fine, but just after 1C left it.

Italy should have told the germans to help them parachute into Malta the second they declared war on France and England. Malta was virtually undefended. Read they only had 4 Gladiators operational. fail.

Can I have an advice? I installed Ypack 1.2.3 and all seemed fine. But the game doesn't start. I uninstalled and tried again, no difference. I hard wish to enjoy this mod on 1.13.4 version. I read positive things about.

Great video. I just watched all of it. Is this PvP or PvE? How many human players were playing? I assume shooting down AI planes is easier than another skilled human pilot 👨‍✈️? I just bought ArmA 3 Apex Edition, and will buy a best version of IL-2 Sturmovik if you can advise me about IL-2. I played thousands of hours of Battlefield 1942, 2, 3 & 4, years ago. Thanks 👍🏻.

IL2 1946 Public PVP its kinda dead and the only people playing that are people that played for years for me 1946 its more for coop and singleplayer while IL2 Bos (and the expansions) are more for multiplayer since you dont have a lot of singleplayer missions and IL2 BOS IA its shit compared to 1946 IA

NBC well tbh I’m not sure what could be causing it. Whenever I try to launch it, steam stays that it’s preparing to launch. Then the blue loading circle shows up next to my mouse for a few seconds. Then it just doesn’t launch. Sorry if I’m not making any sense
