Priscilla Presley - the ex-wife of Elvis - has reflected on her life, their relationship, and dealing with adversity during an emotional and at times confronting interview with Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
Elvis Presley, known as the 'King of Rock and Roll, was an iconic American singer and actor who passed away in 1977.
Priscilla Presley and Elvis were married for six years and had one child together - Lisa Marie.
"I miss him, I miss him very much," Priscilla Presley said.
"I miss his words, I miss his love, I miss his laugh, I miss his energy."
Ms Presley said Elvis had the "biggest heart - he had a great sense of humour".
"I've never met anyone like him, I don't think I ever will again," she said.
"There will never be anyone like him, ever."

There will never EVER be another Elvis or anyone remotely in the same universe as him. I was only 12 when he died, and didn't "live" in real time as his career took off but I'm able to see, hear and feel Elvis as an artist and all his gifts he left us.

Piers Morgan. She lied so unbelievably about the events on the day Elvis died! Lisa was at Graceland with Elvis and Ginger. She peeped in the bathroom and saw her dad’s lifeless body on the floor and Joe Esposito yelled to get her out of there! She went into shock running around the house and grounds outside yelling “ My dad is dead!” Priscilla was back in LA. Lisa called Linda Thompson FiRST to give her the news. It was Linda who tried consoling her. They sent the Lisa Marie plane to pick up Priscilla and Linda to fly them to Memphis. Why Linda? Her brother Sam Thomson ( now a judge) was still working for Elvis. He knows the fact as well, Priscilla refused to let Linda, who shared that luxurious plane 1975-1976 during her 4-1/2 year relationship as live-in girlfriend to board it.. Yet. Priscilla denied her that one thing risking Linda almost missing the viewing and funeral. Other family members and historians have already debunked her atrocious lie (s) she told on your interview. She had long-term relationships during and after the divorce and his death. Why is that being covered as like the only man in her life was whom she cheated on and left for Mike Stone? You’ll probably delete my comments. But they are factual. Variety leaked emails from Lisa to Coppola slamming the movie and pleading that it not be made, yet Priscilla went ahead and produced it 6 months after her daughter’s death, snd she cries? I was a great admirer of yours until this enabling move to promote a damaging film which her daughter was against and perpetuate her lies without fact checking. You are the one looking poorly as a journalist, etc.

This is the truth. I think P’zilla is a vain horrible self centered woman. She looks wretchedly bad, her face is the tragedy here. Elvis cheated on her, divorced her and moved on with his life. He was going to marry that woman, he just overdosed before it could happen. Facts are none of them did anything special before during or after his death but live off his name.

Exactly- she’s been divorced long time riding the gravy train of Elvis. Priscilla lies and actually fought her granddaughter she was once close to- in court! Come on now! She even put her son by someone else as a beneficiary as part of her settlement. People need to see her for what she is. Lisa fought her and their relationship was not good at the premiere of the movie Lisa agreed to . She even fight Lisa’s will in court. How dare she come off like this. She cheated on him. Also he claimed linda was the love of his life - Elvis said it. Also he was getting married to someone else- people forget! She’s not who she’s giving off. Elvis also loved Ann Margret - well known

I agree. I met my husband when I was 16. We got engaged a year later and married when I was 18 and he was 22. We have been married for 56 years. It was a different time. My daughter has just married a man who is ten years older than her but because she is in her 50s nobody thinks anything of it. I think it is all to do with maturity it is clear from this interview that Priscilla offered Elvis something far more than sexual attraction. She was probably the only person in his life who he could trust. A superb interview.

I lost my Dad a month before Elvis died in 1977 and I was eight years old. So I can remember clear as day, the feeling of confusion when Elvis died of the realization of death. The fact is I didn’t understand anymore than Lisa did about death. I remember going to play myself and climbing up a tree looking down at all the cars pulling in our driveway to come see us. My dad died in a motorcycle accident on a bike he’d only had 13 days.

I was so close to my dad. I remember that a lot of his friends died of heart attacks and cancer then because there really weren't good treatments for it. This was the early 70's. He was terrified of cancer. He died at the age of 91 from kidney failure. Even though I had him for quite a long time, it was never enough time. We were very close. My older sister had passed away a couple of years prior after a surgery. All of the doctors missed that she had an infection from the surgery until it was too late. It literally broke my dad's heart. I was devastated. My only consolation when he passed away is that he would be reunited with my sister.

@@mauiswift6391 yes I agree! Exaggerated or not true at all. She said she told Lisa about Elvis dying and they had to go to Graceland but the truth is Lisa was area at Graceland and knew her Daddy died before Priscilla. Lisa called Linda Thompson before she called anyone. Priscilla only tells stories that are already out there but never anything new. She spoke about Lisa at the awards and said Lisa didn't look good that night and how Lisa asked a close friend of the family if she could hold on to him but Priscilla only told that because it was all over the internet and on TV. That's why she repeated it because she knew everyone had rained about how bad Lisa looked that night and how she had to hold on to Gary Shilling. Priscilla isn't gonna tell anything that's not already known. I'm not sure I believe what Priscilla says anymore.

the most amazing thing is the feeling she can share... the love she feels for Him... you can feel that this relationship ended too soon and that the love was and is so vivid that you still feel it now, in her voice, in his eyes, in his actions. Elvis said (in the movie Elvis), "We'll be closer when I'm 50 and you're 40"; I think this thing will happen in the next life; while in this life Priscilla continues to uphold the name of Elvis Presley with her work. Thank you Priscilla for giving us a little piece of Elvis' life, and a little piece of your life! So significant and so important. This was history and still is.

She left Elvis for the married man she was cheating with, told Elvis she didn’t love him anymore, took Lisa and left for California to live with that man for 4 years. Lisa was against the movie, slanted it in emails to Coppola telling her she would put her in a Poitou publicly go against her and her own mother and their relationship was fragile enough. Also said his ig was affecting the twins. Priscilla was executive producer snd disregarded her dead daughter’s wishes snd went ahead with the movie, Also Elvis loved many other women, Anita Wood ((years) June Juanico (2 years), Dixie Locke 2 years, Barbara Hearn all of whom had the approval of marriage from his mother Gladys. We know he adored AnnMargret. Then Linda Thompson ( 4 .5 years), Sheila Ryan (2 years)His fiancée who found him dead at Graceland (Lisa Marie there not with Priscilla), Not to mention how she handed z11 year old Lisa to Scientology knowing Elvis didn’t like them. Over the years (I'm now almost 60, I've seen many, many interviews with Priscilla. I have never seen the love, care and openness from Priscilla as I did in this one. Attending the movie as a have to. After Lisa’s death she even fought her granddaughter. I wonder how much is fact- some her just saying to be important because no one is left alive to say anything else. Lisa - when alive fought and stopped this movie - she’s dead and here it starts- the money machine is important to her. She can’t validate other than her words that this is true. She’s was divorced - how long? You don’t see the other longtime girlfriend talking- that’s the respect they’ve given Elvis. Their silence is what says it all. How long can she ride the gravy train. Her parents let her stay and go to Graceland. If they hadn’t wonder how history would different

Elvis's good friend, previously explained why the King had such a difficult time with Priscilla after Lisa Marie's birth. He said: "It didn't come easy for Elvis to be a committed husband. Elvis viewed her as a mother first and a wife second, and he had hang-ups about making love with her. Also, don't' forget, at the age of 14,. and Elvis was 24. Why would any parent's during that time or today, let that happened? She was under age. Elvis was dating other females while she was back home. Do you think that was fair on her? And also He did have affair on film set, and She knew about it, and did nothing. Elvis once said to he' dad or closer friend, why so young? So, I can train her, to do whatever I want....! It that they way you treat any person, or any woman....! Yes, he was a good at heart most of the time. He remembered what he didn't have and what he had. If there was no Blue moon blues band or Parker, there would be NO ELVIS. He would have still be working in the store. And because sun dance studio, and later Parker he pick him up. The rest was history. Elvis never ever said he was the king of anything, so honestly, it came from the fans from day one, saying that, and it followed like sheep's....! Elvis did what he wanted to do, He never said that he's voice was the greatest...He knew that their were many other artist back then had amazing voice then him. Each to their own. Elvis couldn't read music, and all the songs were written for the studios, and he only sang them. And most of the song were per written from other artist that who already had been release. Don't get be wrong here people, Elvis is only human, but sometimes they way he dose things, and say things, are different. We only see the good side of him in the public eye, but behind closed doors, nobody will ever know what he's really like, except for Priscilla and he's father when he was alive back then. Elvis is gone, just like other well known people. Elvis was just like everyone else, No better, no worse. As I stated before, THERE WOULD BE NO ELVIS, HE WAS CONTINUE HE'S LIFE, HE WOULD HAVE MARRIED HE'S GIRL FRIEND BACK THEN, AND JUST WORK AND HAVE A SIMPLE LIFE. But, that all change for him too quickly. From the age of 22 - 42 - 20 years, he did what he wanted to do. RIP......!
