Elvis treated her AWFUL. I have No respect for him. He had to be MADE to Finally marry her, by colonel Parker. Her parents were angry because he wouldn't marry her...and startedhaving a fit. They called Cl. Parker and complained...and threatened to take Elvis to court. Priscilla couldn't choose what she wanted her to wear...how her hair was done...he made her dye it black, like he dyed his black. He went where and when he wanted...But She Couldn't. The only friends she could have, were friends and associates of his. THEN, after she had Lisa Marie...he refused to have sex with her again. But he didn't stop. If he wanted to sleep all day...Or all weekend...she had to too. In a totally dark room. He was AWFUL.

@@OakwiseBecoming you are talking BULL!!! priscilla never re-married for her own reasons , that are of no one else's business, maybe she had the best so why bother with the rest and she would never have been the "irrelevant first wife"! she didn't "jump in " as you put it , she was asked by vernon who trusted her he knew she was the only one that could achieve wat she did! and yes she saw the $$'s a way to get elvis out there for generations to come , imagine where elvis could have been left in anyone else's hands?!! she knew elvis's main concern was to not be forgotten and when it was mentioned cos there was no money when elvis died gracelands would have to be sold , priscilla said that would never happen and she was as good as her word and elvis would be damn proud of her he never wanted to lose gracelands and as bad as things looked then it never went that far all hail priscilla !! and think on lisa has no qualms she is proud of her mother taking care of her fathers memory and lisa's inheritance that was important to elvis !! maybe you need to think again before you lable her a money grabber , if she takes a wage for her hard work these past 45yrs then so be it elvis would have no problem with it !!

There will never be another man/singer/entertainer like ELVIS. It’s really special of him to have felt . . . “Why me ?” Can you imagine being him & asking & wondering. . . “Why me ?” It was so special the way he was raised & the relationship he had with his parents, especially his mother ! I have loved ELVIS since I was 11 years old & I’m 77 now ! For over 60 years (closer to 70 years) He was born to be ELVIS . . . ⚡️✨👑🎶🎵 I can feel some of what he felt . . . As I too was a twin, I lived & my twin was stillborn. Unlike Gladys my mother didn’t name her, rather she said, that I was stronger, so she wasn’t well developed. I’ve thought about that & I remember feeling guilty - that I lived but she didn’t, so I named her - Rosemarie & I’m Rosemary. . . So I felt some kinship with ELVIS & the guilt went away. . . Thank you ELVIS🌹⚡️👑

He never got over her, if you listen to the biggest recordings he made after their split until his death, they all told sad stories about love gone wrong or missing someone. Every new recording he made she got one of the first copies. She said they stayed close after the divorce and he would call her sometimes at 3am to talk. She said it was almost like they weren't divorced.Lisa said she didn't know she was from a broken home. That's props to Elvis and Pricilla. They loved each other but Elvis could never be true to 1 woman. Even with Linda Thompson he had girls on the side as well as with Ginger.

Don’t forget toward the end his lifestyle caught up to him. A regular series of taking pills, you can’t do that forever. I saw him in Philly in’76 a year before he died and he was not healthy and it was noticeable, the sweating and he cut his sets short at that time. He never forgot his family or his roots, Gospel music and growing up in church. A generous man but again the drugs caused his mind to not be at rest.

I am a second generation .. I guess fan! I love everything about Elvis..the last week I have been listening to documentary after documentary..don't know why! Though I learned a lot..Elvis gave and gave and gave..furs, cars, jewelry, homes, horses, motorcycles, wheelchairs, etc...he gave to a fault..and drove his dad crazy with it! I have learned that you can't judge Elvis by his last year of life..but can understand how the industry took him down..and didn't have people around him that looked after his actual welfare (the kernel for sure, his manager)! Elvis was their cash cow...so nobody rocked the boat! Poor Elvis!

FFS, everyone needs to lay the hell off her about her plastic surgery. NONE of us would ever have any idea of what's like to be someone like her and the pressures she'd be under to stay beautiful. We all know she had an unfortunate surgery incident and is trying to rectify it. IMAGINE how much shit she'd be getting if she'd gotten old and aged normally - everyone would be saying "damn she's gotten old. She looks terrible. Why doesn't she get surgery? She can afford it." Lay off.

Paul Rizzo What pressure has she been under? I know of beautiful women who were never married to rock stars who have aged beautifully and have a few wrinkles here and there. She's not important to me and people that I know. We talk about Elvis since he is the STAR and not the I wanna be star that you have made out of Priscilla. She did not exist in our world until she started trashing Elvis. It's so sad that you have forgotten all about Elvis and are focusing on a woman who has spent a lifetime peddling lies and writing books filled with lies. You are not an Elvis fan. I don't understand your concern with her beauty or lack of since she only cares about herself and making money off people like you that worship her. Furthermore, who do you think you are to demand we need to lay off her? I guess you've never heard of freedom of speech.

Yeah she said to Barbara Walters that he regretted not taking the role in a star in born & he would have been better off to sit down with Colonel Parker and get more control over his career. I don’t know if that comes with the business sense she developed over time or what but I think she became a powerful woman in her own right. I wonder if they would have gotten back together. It’s clear she still cares about him all these years later. That in a way is the love story, since they had a uniquely rocky road with their marriage

I think the church of Scientology didn’t help get Lisa Marie in having a good life that’s probably why Priscilla had to be so controlling. Let’s not forget that Lisa Marie had an extraordinary life because her father was ELVIS PRESLEY made it kind of hard for her to have a good way of living. Can you imagine growing up like she did . . . The daughter of the Incredible King of Rock n Roll ? So sad that she passed away I think she wanted to be with her Daddy & her son so she could really FEEL again, after all Lisa Marie was ELVIS’ Pride and Joy.

She definitely was in love with Elvis Presley. She still bares his name! She’s been through quite a bit since she was a girl who was so very impressed by Elvis! I love this because Priscilla is a wonderful faithful woman and mother! It’s only fitting that she should manage and keep and safeguard this Legacy!❤️

As I think about my visit to Graceland the thing that really gets to me is that years ago when Elvis purchased Graceland,,it was more outskirts of Memphis ,country,,,& a nice neighborhood 💙 but when I were there someone said "Elvis's Mansion is in the ghetto " I was like wth,,so I'm a little different,,I don't believe anything,,so I went back to the hotel & I looked it up 4 myself,,sadly the neighborhood is now considered,,a bad side of town,,This saddened me to no end!! So I am so thankful that Priscilla did all she did to save his home & allows us fans to visit it,,I love his home,,every inch of it,,inside & out!! Thank you,,its a privilege to see his homes,,both of them

zyxmyk What a nice idea, I'd like to think that, too. I think he would have eventually gotten on a health kick and gotten himself off those pills. Lots of people were partying and experimenting with drugs in the 60's and 70's. He wasn't doing heroin or cocaine like many of the rock stars of that era were doing. I think if he could have unloaded the Mafia and the hangers on wanting money, and given Tommy Parker the boot, Priscilla probably would have come back to him and he'd have gotten his health on track. Constant worry and annoyance from those guys, and family wanting money didn't make it easy for him to stay off the pills. It usually takes a complete lifestyle change when somebody is addicted.
