Sorry, quick clarification since I misspoke in the video. At 8:30 I mention that doing stagger/stun reduces the overdrive bar, but this is incorrect. Damage is what builds and drains the mode bar/overdrive bar respectively. Happy gaming!

To squeeze in more damage. You can cast a non charge stargaze(or stargaze 1) after a dodge cancel on any skill or stargaze v for extra damage. eg. Cast fireball, stargaze 2, dodge, stargaze, freeze, stargaze 2, dodge, stargaze. Not really "essential" nonetheless after you've mastered io and keeps uptime in damage even on the times you think you can't cast stargaze which adds to one of Io's skill expressions

Quick cast is triggered whenever you gain a stack of Mystic Vortex. So that would be your charged attack, fire, freeze, gravity well, lightning, mystic vortex (the skill), and link attack IIRC.

You already probably know that you can dodge while charging Star Fall and then CONTINUE the charge. But what I didn't knew was you can actually run (for a few seconds) after dodging and still continue to charge Star Fall. Retain Charge is a skill you learn early that allows Io to continue Stargaze's charge right after dodging. But then there's this skill called Focused Mage that extend the duration Io can resume that charge. It never specifically mention this but you can now run for a bit after dodging and still continue Stargaze's charge.

You can also effectively extend this to as long as you want by quickly tapping the charge button into another dodge. Just make sure you let go of the charge button while in mid air during the dodge.

My recommendation instead of using the 7 meteor attack use the one that gives you max orbs so you can cast 2 uniques back to back. I use fire , ice , dark and then the max out orbs.

You certainly could, but losing 100% damage cap would be rough. I imagine the build itself would look similar, but with the Ascension or Stinger weapon - the former making you quite tanky at max awakening.

I'm no pro but another video I watched said you should max out the Crit weapon and use that until you swap to terminus. Just shift the sigils around a bit to make sure you have 100% Crit without going over.

1 cascade sigil is helpful for fitting her 2nd fire into the rotation, but honestly not that big a deal tbh

Charging flowery seven does not increase the dmg

If you're not already hitting the damage cap, full charging Flowery 7 will increase the damage. Feel free to check yourself by going to Sir Barrold, removing your damage sigil, but keeping your damage caps, and test between tapping it and charging it - I just tested again to be sure and it definitely makes a difference for me!

@@Clavitz1 Yeah damage caps in general are so easy to hit - or maybe just the base damage ratios are too high, it would be cool if the caps were hard to reach so that different builds could shine :3

@@bNaturalGaming 1000%. There's so many Attack sigils that get overlooked that might not if the cap was higher. Maybe we'd see Overdrive+Break Assassin builds or something.
