It was more luck by judgement. Booked trip in July 2020 and went in August 2020... seat map looked different when selecting my seat so went for it

When I go from London to Newcastle upon Tyne I check the train times then I get either LNER or Lumo, depending on which one comes first.

How comfortable are the FC seats compared to the SC seats?

The leather seats in First Class on the Class 91s are amazing and a step above the standard class seats. However, the Azumas differences is less so obvious but would take FC over SC on both any day

It was a limited service... however tea, coffee, crisps and light bites were on offer
