Honestly this man should be given a 🔥 firefighter 🔥 🚒 appreciation award. That's basically what he did for the first 6 months. With how fast everything happened and Nick Saban retiring kinda abruptly. The University of Alabama needed someone to come in to save it from burning to ashes. And with hopes and wishes I think with the help of Nick Saban they chose Kalen deboer. Kudos to Deboer. Is there a need for improvement in areas maybe in himself and coaching staff? Yes. Always. And this is why I believe Alabama will have yet another dynasty legacy with Kalen deboer. He is just flat out a successful man. is it possible for the University of Alabama to go to the playoffs this year and take it all the way to the national championship and bring home the trophy this year oh yea Roll Tide.

Time will tell. I do not disagree with you but I also feel like as a lifelong BAMA fan since I was old enough to say roll tide this squad had a sense of complacency or maybe even entitled. I'm not sure which. As the year has went on I have noticed this trend across the board. All the major programs have dealt with it!! I'm still on coach's side and think Deboer can work this into "his" program and not Sabans program that he is currently running. You do not find out about a coach until he loses a few games. We will see. Plenty of talent to win it all. That's not the issue.

I’m proud of our new coach. He’s running a raided, left over Saban team and started better in his first year than most coaches have ever done. Especially in the SEC. Just a lot of ridiculous chatter around Coach Debeor in year 1. Bama had a 9.5 win total preseason and went 9-3. He beat Georgia, LSU, and Auburn in year 1 and is going to the playoff in year 1. Also has top 3 recruiting class with his guys! Alabama has a elite coach!

This guy is going to be great for Bama. Humble and kind gentlemen. He’s smart. He had to just throw stuff together pretty quickly. It hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. However, he’s got a chance to be in the playoffs. And I do believe next season will tell more of the true story about what he can do. I’d lose the OC. He’s kind of been erratic and unwilling to adjust. But the DC has improved. He’ll be fine. Hopefully Bama can get in these playoffs and then who knows what could happen. They have the talent to win it all and the inconsistency to lose game 1. But I am confident that the future is bright. I have zero doubt that Coach DeBoer will get us a ring sooner than later.

I don’t think he was ready for our players: size, work ethic, SEC power. I think he let Milroe take over the team and didn’t understand the concept of backup players. He should have used Ty more. DeBoer needs to drop some of the passive coaching and get a little more Saban like. Let’s not forget who set up Kirby and Steve. Then again, we can get rid of him now after 1 year for $4 million and some change. And no, I’m not a hater; I’m an alumni who also happens to be critical of what’s being done with the money I paid.

No they aren't the committee head said the teams not playing in conference championships arent gonna be adjusted there's no more data points to go off of that's pretty much telling us those certain teams aren't moving yes smu is 8th if they win their in but smu has a terrible sos and no ranked wins at all if smu loses to clemson the committee is gonna knock smu out of the playoff and itl be alabama and clemson
