Full Length Front of Train Ride on The Morning Rush Hour R160 (Q) Train to Coney Island Stillwell Av

For best viewing experience set to max quality
Every weekday morning, except holidays that happen to land on a weekday, there is one R train that goes to 96st instead of Forest Hills.
Because of this the R train turns into a Q train and then heads towards Coney Island and then terminates at Coney Island and goes out of customer service so it can go back to the yards. It later on serves either the afternoon R train that begins service at 36st - 4th avenue or the nearby F line which begins service at Kings Highway

I was actually supposed to move out of NYC in August but my family changed their minds last minute so I'm still here 😅 The D line I'm not able to do unfortunately because the surface of the front of the train is not smooth and makes the camera fall off. The conductor uses a key to open and close the doors. When the conductor removes the key after boarding is done it then sends a signal to the operators cab where there is a light that lights up which indicates the train is ready to move

There is this channel called fan railer that did something similar with his camera outside the train a few years ago (but in bewteen subway cars) He explained in the comments that gravity is more than enough for it to not fall off since the camera is so small and it's actually true as you saw here

That was extremely good animation. Is that from photography into computer graphics ? I really liked to see the tunnel bulkheads from 19:20 to 19:30 where the original north two tunnels of the N train are closed off as we go from the north 2 tunnels to the south 2 tunnels of the 4 under this part of Canal St before the Manhattan Bridge approach. In the old days, we would have gone onto the north two tracks of the Manhattan Bridge, and the south two bridge tracks would have gone to Chambers St. When the Christie St connection was built, it took the two north bridge tracks, and now we are shuffled over to the south two bridge tracks. The old south tunnels are still behind these bulkheads, but without tracks; A little further, the Christie St IND tracks curve into them. I love track layouts, operations, routings, and history of the structures. The only thing that could have been better is a bit more ditch lights shining on the tracks in the tunnels, but I guess this is the best that it was illuminated; I could see the track layout, and exquisite tunnel details !
