For the guys who send it through the winter too. Pick up a non o ring chain. Its going to handle salt/sand, ice and such a lot better and still move pretty freely. After riding don't throw your battery immediately on the charger. Let it get to room temperature after riding before charging. Also don't immediately rip it off the go if you're still running primary belt. Let the belt run a bit normally to warm from the friction. Likely to snap a belt. Granted I recommend moving to chain primary, BUT if you follow that you shouldn't have any problems. Make sure there's no ice build up around your fork seals if your bike sits outside long. Regardless if it's 32 out or -12. Also make sure if you live in the northeast (like me) you wipe your bike down after. You know how they love their salt. Surprisingly the frame takes it pretty well. Everything else doesn't though. Also to guys thinking on riding for the first time in the snow. If you are running aftermarket. Tune your eco for very low amps/throttle ramp. These bikes do not like packed snow. Also if you are on the street a basketball size patch of ice isn't going to affect a car. It will however put you down if you aren't prepared and used to it. Lastly, doesn't hurt to pick up knobby tires. Or if your tire is aggressive enough tap them yourself with SHALLOW mounts. Have fun, be safe. Wear hi viz this time of year. 🤙

I love your channel so much. You create incredible value content. Thank you for super useful information and high-quality videos. I'm also amazed by the talent the state of Utah has. Is it possible to buy your branded t-shirt? I would love to wear one. Thanks again!

Good stuff, what I've been doing these proceedures on my motocross bikes to some extent going back for over 40 years. Back to my 1984 KX80, CR125, YZ250F, YZ426F, YZ450F and another YZ250F and now my 3 yr old Surron X. I skip doing this every year now because I don't ride my e-moto bike in mud, rain and it stays inside my home in AC and or heat low moisture. I've made similiar lube videos over the past years on my surron. I just pulled my Jackshaft out to clean up, inspect and replace the belt when I received my new 72v EBMX Race battery in Nov from CCW. I could not get my swingarm out from the frame but its movement was silky smooth up and down. Maybe next year do the Warp 9 jackshaft upgrade and suspension shock linkage.

How do you check for correct chain tension when putting the rear wheel back on?
@gmackoneoplАй бұрын
Hi, can you tell how to measure correct belt tension? I think some bikes are comming with factory tension that is to high. There are some strange noises and squickings from the belt and the wheel. how to check this out? Similar to chain tension, how do you setup these?

Good video. I always wondered why they don't put Zerks (to grease the bearings) on the linkage. I just picked up some Warp9 links with the Zerks, seems like a no-brainer to me. And c'mon guys, where is your torque wrench? Yeah I get most shadetree mechanics don't care, but they're cheap enough these days that everyone should be using one, especially on the triple tree.
@ChargedCycleWorks2 ай бұрын
We have a lot of installation videos torquing bolts to spec, and our mechanics live by them. Typically to save time on full bike builds we will build the entire bike then at the very end pull out the torque charts and individually bolt check every bolt on the bike. This is part of our mechanics procedure and becomes a nice "Final Check" before a bike goes out the door. In hindsight it would've been a good idea to put that in this video and was overlooked on our part.

The whole point of me watching this video was to see how he washed the bike and what he used since it said full maintenance and he didn’t show us any of that still an awesome video though very through 🦾

We typically use a mountain bike pressure washer (lower psi) really any car or bike cleaning soap works well. These bikes are quite water resistant but directly spraying electric connections with high pressure definitely isn’t recommended. Then we use an air compressor to blow of the bikes and dry them with a microfiber towel
