@@wevertonpereira21 I disagree, giving the refs too much authority takes away control from the athletes. If you lose a match with loose reffing, you only have yourself to blame. I think the benefit however of having stricter refs is that the setup is quicker.

I don't think there's any way to fix it. if you don't have a better solution, then really there's no reason to complain. they've been trying to fix the sport for decades. at this point, it is what it is and cheating is part of the sport. there is no perfect set of rules that is going to fix this. if you make it too strict, matches will just end fouls and we won't even see any arm wrestling. if you don't like the way the sport is right now, then don't watch it. I enjoy it immensely!!!
