I understand the intention of the 3rd person camera, but it genuinely takes away from the gameplay. With game modes like S&D it makes more sense with the slower playstyle, but with something like hardpoint, it makes the viewing experience less pleasurable. The game is played in First-person, and that is how the audience wants to view it..

Rounding up concerns from the comments section....From a viewing experience they need to 1) avoid using third person / birds eye POV 95% of the time especially in Respawn Modes given the split second kills - only time it’s acceptable is if there’s 5 down and we want to see the position of a potential spawn trap or in SND when it’s a 1v1 to add to the suspense right before an engagement, 2) for god sakes add K/D and kill streak tally back to the main COD caster HUD 3) when there is a listen in there’s no need to show 3 panels of screens. 1 screen to show individual faces and 1 to show the game play, 4) add the mini map and 5) when there’s trash talk after a map / series is finished - you have to show the other team as well- would have loved to see Crim / Clays face after Scump’s hype. Viewing experience is absolutely critical to grow the COD community. It’s all about converting an average gamer into AT LEAST a slightly competitive one that understands the e-sports COD rules and gameplay. I appreciate the run through of the game modes rules prior to a map starting- small add-ons like this one are important. If an average viewer doesn’t understand what’s going on from a viewing experience, you can’t expect this e-sport to grow. The games got potential and I am “cautiously” optimistic but there definitely needs to be some major changes made to the game / esport infrastructure.

@@IZenoXI yeah that's why it works in csgo and it works well. It can work in the faster gamemodes as well but only at the start of a new Hill so you can show the teams setup or something. Randomly switching to third person makes absolutely no sense at all.

I think we will see a change in the production in the next event. Seems like they are having trouble executing this new system of 3rd person and aerial views. I’m happy to see they are going for something different but it might just be to much going on camera wise for a FPS like call of duty which relies on big moments in first person views that get the crowd/viewers at home going.

Good work but its hard to keep up with whats actually going on in the game, please have a look into doing these: -Constant mini map, brightened player cursors and add players numbers to their cursor -Constant player stats > kills, deaths, current streak, obj (may as well remove player pictures after first 20 secs of map) -Kill feed goes top to bottom -More POVs, few aerials, -show teams W/L record next to their team name with current league position ADD TO SND >constantly show player utilities (e.g. nades, smokes) >constantly show how many players are alive on each team Apart from that everything looks clean and more professional, just need production to get into the swing of things and all is good :)

The codcaster needs to be fixed ASAP. No more aerial or third person shots, show the minimap and stat lines instead of showing their faces and occasionally letting it pop up. The film grain needs to be reduced to make the game look more appealing visually
