Damn my guild does not even close to 7k to 9k dps, our top dps is around 4.8k we are gonna have a bad time here

Guess, it's Asian Servers, which were opened 1-2 weeks before others. So they have better gear and do more dps. On top, it's AoE-focussed. So you should do insane damage, when adds stay at boss.

This is false. Please stop spreading nonsense. Asia server is about 10 hours ahead. We are on the exact same cycle as global. China is 1 week ahead. China and China alone.

A big reason I do this on global and not china servers is because I want people to get a feel for the damage required for the day 1 clear. Asia is on the same release schedule as global. This group smashed the epic version, you do not require this level of damage to overcome it. Do not be discouraged by the dmg numbers you see. An important note. This team crushed epic but could only get it to 25% hp before enrage timer happened on challenge mode. To complete the challenge mode we had to drop 2 lowest dps and bring in our core raid members to clear it. The challenge mode dps check is very difficult compared to the normal epic version. I'll be uploading the video tonight for all to see

@@VarietyMMOs Okay. Sorry for this disinformation then. Thought, I've read something about this before. Your dps is insane. I had about 5.5k Overall as necro. Lead the dps meter and we made it. So you dont Need that much dps. At least, I would do much more, too. :)

It's dps with adds just switch your dps build up for aoe and watch your damage go CRAZY HAHA.

Epic merfolk is the most straight forward fight. If you have a team that can deal with the ads the fight should be easy enough. The challenge mode dps requirement and team coordination is much higher. Merfolk is the easiest boss by far in this series of bosses.

It was sus 😅 I try to remember to mention if it's a first clear/speed run because the strategies change drastically. If I show a speed run and don't mention it's a speed run people get discouraged at the amount of damage we're pumping out
