I've heard bad things about changing Transmission fluid, lots of cases it makes things worse. This coming from my step dad who owns a mechanic shop and full on stopped doing tranny fluid because peoples shit would break down. So unless you do it regularly, you may want to be careful with that. But there may be a discrepancy for the manual. Anyways, glad to see you're still making vids!

Yah I've heard that on autos, but don't think it applies to the manual. Also, all the Acura manual guys swear by the syncromesh fluid saying it's insane difference in shifting feel. They would grind 2nd and 3rd, or not engaging at all. They switched to synchromesh, and shifts like butter.

Hey buddy. Driving a 2010 TL Shawdy 5AT. Got a Ktuner going to play with it tomorrow. Should I do anything with the VTEC window? Can and how would I set up the ability to launch from a stop? If I WOT from stop the engine just dies down, then picks up, very annoying. Also what's the option to delete the downstream o2s for emissions codes?

I'm not sure tbh, p2r set my vtec at 4500rpm...the only thing I can see is maybe adjusting the drive by wire settings to make it more aggressive off the line. Pretty much what a sprint booster would do. For the emissions I'm not sure, you'd have to disable certain sensors. They failed my safety as soon as they seen no cats.

That's awesome to hear🤙.I loved the 3rd gens, and hated the 4th gens. Then I seen some done up right(they got rid rid of all the chrome, lowered , and wheels), and completely changed my view on them. Still lots more to do for mod looks on this in the next few months.

I could try and do something like that. I'm no mechanic, so I'm not too knowledgeable on how things works haha. I just know less weight and more airflow is best.

Yes it was, so had bad exhaust leak on some of these...4 of 6 flew off, so I'm thinking I need new engine mounts asap. I was able to replace some of them, but still missing 2.

@DaDavyWavy imo, absolutely. Better handling, and better in rain and snow. If you don't care about that stuff stock for stock I believe the FWD is faster though when comparing 5AT to 5AT and 6AT to 6AT.

SO I have a 2013 TL SH-AWD (6MT) WITH 9,500 and it has these Honda PBT A2 bulbs. What can you replace those with?

I’m putting on that CT engineering short shift right now and I can’t get that bolt underneath that air duct🤦🏻‍♂️

I actually removed the short shifter, cause it was making me grind gears wayy too much. The TL shift is short enough from the factory.
