Naik is absolutely right in his analysis of Orthodox Science vis-à-vis Quo'run. As he says, one of the main difference between Orthodox science and Quo'ran is that, Orthodox science has theories, whereas Quo'ran mentions only scientific facts. Quo'ran has no theories. Here is one of the scientific facts, mentioned in the Quo'ran, regarding the common-or-garden corn( Maze). Here it is: "... corn: it groweth seven ears, and each ear Hath a hundred grains"-Qur'an 2:261. No Orthodox scientist can disprove this, because what Quo'run mention is a scientific fact, not a theory. Quo'ran does not have a single error; if there is even a single error, the whole book becomes null and void.

Scientists say that before the galaxies in the universe were formed, celestial matter was initially in the form of gaseous matter. In short, huge gaseous matter or clouds were present before the formation of the galaxies. To describe initial celestial matter, the word ‘smoke’ is more appropriate than gas. (cont)The Arabic word used in the beginning of verse 11 of Surah Fussilat is summa which means; 'then' or 'moreover'. There are certain Qur'anic translations, which have, used 'then' for the word summa which, indicates 'afterwards'. If 'then' is wrongly used for summa then the total of the creation of heaven and earth will be conflict with the Big Bang Theory as well as the verse of the Qur'an Surah Al Ambiya chapter 21 verse 30 which says that heavens and the earth were created simultaneously.

If you refer to the bible in Exodus 20:11, in the midst of the Most High's 7th day Sabbath commandment, we read: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. I am a Muslim but I am referring in Exodus 20:11 to shows that the revelation give in Al-Quran and given to Prophet Isa (a.s) is from Allah. Only the Al-Quran doesn't change base on time.

If you analyse these verses carefully, it speaks about 2 different creations: the earth and the heaven. The earth excluding the mountains was created in 2 days and the mountains were set on the earth standing firm and blessed and measured its sustenance in 4 days. Therefore the earth along with the mountains was created in 6 days according to verse 9 and 10. Verse 11 and 12 says, moreover the heavens were created in 2 days.

I believe from my understanding the smoke refer to the apperance. People understand more better when appereance of smoke is used to describe the initial gaseous mass before the creation of galaxies. Explain to a person regarding hydrogen and helium, people will take time to understand. If the correct words use such as "dukhan" in Arabic, people can easily understand

We Muslim do not worship idol. We cannot see Allah but Allah see us. The revelation given and the teaching of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) provide the correct way of leading a life and worshipping Allah. The change in Qiblat is a test to show who follow Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) or not
