Something that jumped out from what she said is that whoever she's with, she wants to make them happy. I hope she learns that that's not her job in a relationship. True happiness comes from within. U can't depend or expect someone to make u happy. I've learned not to look for a missing piece of yourself in someone else. I also think that her "strengths" are changing John. I can completely relate, being in a relationship were we started off wanting different things in life. Once he came around and proposed it became overwhelming for me. You love someone so much, that you'll sacrifice for them and not get much in return is so hard for you mental well being. We broke up and got back together later our relationship is better then ever but that time for me and getting back to what makes me happy was the best thing for us. Take your time if your meant to be you'll be together, don't rush.
