Amazing how being with the wrong person can convince you that everything you ever wanted isn’t really what you wanted. She was really trying to convince herself, even in this interview, that she didn’t want a child bc she loved John. I can see it in Brie’s face just looking at her. Thank goodness Nikki found someone who helps her feel secure enough to honour her hearts truest desires. She’s an amazing mom and she looks complete. Hindsight is really 20/20.

I kinda expected Nikki to make it seem like she doesn't want kids now.. I mean if John doesn't want kids and she wants to be with him forever, she had to accept it at some point. So she's really trying to speak it into existence and see the positive of not having kids to make herself feel better about the situation, and not feel like she's missing out. It was either that or have people constantly feel sorry for her if she kept saying she wish she had kids. Especially now that Brie had a baby, people would think she envied her sisters motherhood.. and then the interview would get awkward and just make John and Nikkis relationship look less of. So I do think this whole spill of her just now realizing after 10+ years of being around kids and mothers and wanting to have kids, TO now all a sudden realizing how hard motherhood is, and it doesn't work for her lifestyle..its a load of BS. But I understand why she's doing it now. Being with John changes her life plan, there wont be a "settle down with a family" so she has to change her life goals accordingly. That's why she says now she wants to focus on her career and be a business woman, because thats all she can do. She knows how she feels deep down. She knew what motherhood was about before Brie had a baby, which Is why I think her spill on not wanting kids now is BS. Brie knows her sister and she knows why she always wants to see Birdie , & why shes so close to her♥Thats the closest she can get to motherhood. I just hope Nikki made the decision that makes her happy in the end.
