What I learned in the first hour: - Life is more important than gold (I am/was chasing gold into fire and acid after trying to kill everything with the tablet) - Hearts in coal pile - Unstable teleport or black hole (+statue trick) for keeping holy mountain intact and leave/enter it for wand tinkering - Trigger + chainsaw - Concentrated mana melts steel and "steely" enemies - Kick kicks object in the direction of your crosshair - Switching wands makes the wand shoot the first thing again (explosive exclusive wands f.e. tnt + bomb)

When you were talking about luck, all I could think of was making a two buttons meme, where the buttons are "Dunks so lucky, he finds so much stuff early on" and the other button is, "Dunk spends too long exploring early". And aside from that, I know plenty of players could get given a godlike set of wands in the first 30 seconds and still struggle to pull off the feats you manage.

Early rain cloud for me means grabbing a tablet and activating the dessert skull portal. Sometimes you gotta blow a hole in the skull or angle yourself so the rain cloud clips through. Then I’m at the lake and can throw the tablet in the hut to get a great early OP wand

@@skinnysnorlax1876 😍 fill the skull eye socket in the desert about 1/2 way with H2O before it evaporates. A portal will open to the island. A little East is a small hut. Throw a tablet at the tablet sign and it opens a portal to a great early wand. Lol this game is nuts, I love it

Can confirm for KZbin viewers. Noita-dude dies... a LOT! It's just that when Dunk says at the beginning of a run, "this is going up on KZbin!" he plays just a touch more conservatively. And even that little amount of caution is enough to mean the difference between dying half an hour to an hour in, and "Surviving the cast of 'End of Everything'" on a whim. ;)

Today I finished my first NG+++ run after this video inspired me. Learned a lot and endgame was godlike, also didn't use any corrupted knowledge orbs. It's amazing how in this game main challenge changes as you go further.

Made the mistake of entering the meat realm on my new game plus and picked up repulsion field too... had no easy way to heal since my boomerang heals wouldn't go near me anymore and my health was very low

I love watching your runs and how you always take time to teach things. I've just been noticing that you always make the "obvious" wand builds and stuff that work for certain. I'd like to see more variety and see how you experiment with stuff. Sure it's always a risk and you don't want to ruin a long run with something that might blow up on your face, but I'm sure people would understand that it's Noita and that's how it goes. Do a long run with homing weird stuff and infiniwisps sometimes :)

Hiisi Base after 2 hours. I'd love to explore that much, but i'm still bad and take a lot more chip damage, either forcing me onwards to the next refill-heart or killing me outright when i stay greedily. I've gotten a lot better with the first area, and notice improvements in the 2nd, but there's still worlds of difference between what you're doing here and my flailing around. Great respect man.

Just wanted to propose a "Wand Master" challenge: you must use a different wand build style (i.e. chainsaw rapid-fire, homing mist, trigger payload etc.) for every biome you visit. Just started this challenge myself, only thrice per run + persists between runs

I have never heard someone say G U I, it's always "gooey". It's quite common to make acronyms their own word specifically so you don't have to say each individual letter. "Laser" is technically an acronym.

@@hypnogri5457 Yeah I've seen that one, but tbh once you dodge the bosses at the start its basically a normal seed. When I say "worst seed possible" I basically mean getting screwed by terrain gen / wand RNG / holy mountain shop RNG everywhere you possibly can.

Long range cast with a teleport bolt is a much safer way to get in and out of the Holy Mountain as you can teleport through the walls without going near the collapse trigger zone.

Played for straight up 4h and didnt pass the vault once even though I had a good build every damn run. I'm taking too much stupid dmg. I don't even understand how you get hit only like 10 times by the time you get to icy base. Even when I'm super careful, I end up getting poisoned all the time or at least random shot out of screen from level 3 enemies. Can only blame me !
