As far as the wedding cake senario of west coast vs east coast....I think it's important to look at the vineyard model. Synthetically yes you can have identical products from two different locations as long as all variables match..... however.....in the vineyard model it's important to note that different soils, climates and various other drivers will obviously change the phenotype of your genetics producing variable results.
