Wiping is the real detriment to the sport, even getting hit and sliding hard into the bunker to wipe it off. It just happens and it sucks, also the need to burn lanes is just weird. There is a ton of strategy at a high level but it will never reach mainstream like this. I wish it would and love the sport but it's a major labor of love! It's great seeing ollie lang back out playing, he's just so good on every level and a wonderful example of just being yourself in life. I wish he had a podcast or something to just reveal a bit of his mind!

I don’t understand this sport can someone explain me about this game plz ?
@ashameroule91104 ай бұрын
I don't play, and this is a late comment, but I guess think like... Splatoon and some shooter game where kills are important. By constantly peppering areas, you make pressure so your forwards can get up and get clear shots, hopefully without getting hit in the process. In the second round you can see one player rush forward to take ground but is almost instantly painted and out, so keeping pressure up and heads down and coordinating the fire becomes important. Beyond that, it's basically tag the enemy out or secure the other end for the round point. All about positioning, timing, and working with your team to gain the angles where there's nowhere else to hide from getting hit.

21:50 if the ref sees that it was a bouncer, the hit should theoretically not count, or has that been changed in the last 10 years? :D i dont no.
@mixayphiakeo3101 Жыл бұрын
Still considered a hit.
@buttermonkeyFTW Жыл бұрын
they're talking about bouncing the ball off the ground and hitting Ronnie. which is still a hit. Unless the ball is stationary on the ground and you like kneel on it, any broken paint on you is a hit
@RepairPaintball Жыл бұрын
Has to break on the person to be considered an elimination. Bounces don't count. Edit: Weather it bounced or not does not matter*
@omgwayne Жыл бұрын
@@RepairPaintball u misunderstood me. If a ball bounces off the bunker and breaks on the player, then technically it is not a hit, according to the rulebook. If the ref sees that the ball bounced off the bunker, he should actually wipe the hit off the player and give it clean.
@omgwayne Жыл бұрын
@@buttermonkeyFTW maybe the rules have changed, but when I played at international level, balls that bounced off bunkers or the ground and broke on the player were not valid hits. of course, it's not easy for the ref to see, so they usually took the players out for it anyway. but it is not in accordance with the rules.
