Definitely would like to see many speed painting videos. Being disabled, sitting anymore is hard for any long length of time. Loved this video as I can blast through a starting concept, then come back the next day and add detail. MORE 30 MINUTE VIDEOS, PLEASE. 😁

Kevin!!! (Shouted in a Home Alone mom voice) This is beyond amazing and can’t wait to try this in 3 days time 😊 Thanks for putting my tropical painting up (done in 4 days) but utilizing the mixed media I learned from you, it is indeed applied in all the aspects of my “homework.” Thank you for all the guidance.

I imagined that if such a mysterious waterfall actually existed, I would like to visit it. 🚶🎶 Due to the time constraint of 25 minutes, the finished work had many traces of brush strokes and looked like an acrylic painting.🌈 However, it can only be said that it is amazing to be able to draw so far in 25 minutes.👏👏👏

I love this so much! The misty canyon is so neat and like you said, you can tell something is going on down there, but not exactly what. Makes the imagination go wild in a good way. :D I think it's amazing as is. It'd be interesting to see a side by side comparison of the 25 minute version vs a slower, however many hours you want to put into it version.

Dumb question I hope someone can answer as I’m new to painting and thus far am using only acrylics. Kevin switches between different paintbrushes as he’s doing this. When not in active use, does he set the brush in water or just down on the table - because acrylic dries so fast, what is most opportune method when the brushes are on a short “recess” - to keep them in good working order? Also since acrylic paints shouldn’t be washed down the drain, what’s the best way to clean up after painting? I’m thus far using a tub of water then tossing the soiled water outside. PS. Love this channel and his personality - what a great and inspiring teacher!
@40bdg2 жыл бұрын
I would give the brushes a quick rinse befire laying them down. As far as getting rid of your dirty water, I place a paper towel in the sink over the drain and slowly pour my water out over it. Once the water has drained through, you are left with the sediment in the towel, and you can then just throw it in the trash.
@gingersnaps41942 жыл бұрын
@@40bdg Ok thanks! Great idea on getting rid of dirty water. So much easier than my method! Thank you!

I sure want to think you did a Halloween painting some time ago... I can't find it in your list, but I kind of want to think it was a dark, kind of scary dead trees thing, but...
