Hey, I made this 8 years ago, so take with a pinch of salt. But I used an HDV camera and basically filmed each frame for a second at a time. Then I edited in premiere I think, cutting out a few frames from each shot, or as much as I needed. I'd probably just film this on my phone if I was making it today, there's free and affordable stop-motion apps that have really useful tools like onion skin that make the whole process a lot easier, plus you can watch the animation back as you're filming it which is super helpful. Also you can get cheap macro lenses for phones as well, that would make getting close-ups possible (something I couldn't do when I made this video).

Do you mean how much did it cost? Couldn't tell you. I made this video 8 years ago, and the lego I used was from my childhood collection. It's so over-priced now! I only built maybe 3 buildings and a wall or two I think though. Just moved them around for each new setup. The ground and backdrop were two maybe metre-squared (I think) thin wooden boards that were sprayed with a sand-texture spray paint. Recycled from my Warhammer days. Just had one on a work-bench for the ground and the other board was leaning against it at 90 degrees for a backdrop.

Do you mean the software or the army men? The army men were just a local toy shop but you can get them on Amazon for dirt cheap. The software I used is probably long since discontinued, but the most recent version can be bought through creative cloud on the Adobe website :) Sent from my iPhone
