Usual steed was a 6180 another great tractor showing her age a bit but she was well looked after excellent old girl . Super channel keep up the good work

I spent many hours in my uncle's 6290, their a great tractor the sound of them was awesome, my dad had a 8160 and a 8260 again so much power and great exhaust note, love the massey's.

My old chap used to drive a 6190 and his boss had a 8110. Both beautiful tractors, pulled well and sounded great. Really comfortable too. Love a Massey 😊

Nice job- I’m the proud owner of a 6270 I have had since new . Your right about the exhaust sound- it’s one the best sounding tractors around

I have a MF 6120, an older brother of 6290 and i must say that in late 90s these tractors were very much ahead of their time. Mine was made in 97 and if i compare it with new tractors, must of them didnt make it to the level of sound isolation to this day, also the comfort of the cab is very much ahead of their time. And those perkins engines are probably the most durable engines made ever, because if they can handle forest working in Slovenia where they pull 7m3 of logs off the mountain, they can handle everything.

My bosses son has a Massey 6270 and it pulled a 25 tonne digger up a very steep hill in 2 D but very well tuned as well. Those 6200 are like Honda farm quads. A lot of torque at low revs and enough power to do the job! Great vid keep up the good work

One of the local contractors around here has a MF6290 on a twin row Armer Salmon Beet Harvester that I usually get a chance to photograph. A seriously nice set up. Ideal when field conditions can be best described as soap.

I dont know how I missed this video till now but you have just made my day , I have a 6270 which is a lovely tractor to drive and is a fantastic loader tractor but is underpowered two years ago I was looking for a 6290 because like you said they are fantastic , couldnt find a nice clean one here in eire but I did manage to acquire a 8220 much the same hp but much bigger , super tractor no problem to work six furrow plough , love the videos

Love the Massey’s, we like our AGCO White 6710, something that never made it over to the UK I guess. Same basic tractor as the MF6270 but with a 6BT Cummins for power instead of the perky.

How much more do you think you need ? We used to pull 2 legs behind 80hp on grey clay. It’s all about weight, set up and speed rather than going flat out. The land in the vid is light land with a stone pan.

no smoke no poke we have a 6270 and a 80 pulls like f __K no eco boosts but i would say that the last half good MF tractor series was the 5400 6400 but the 7400 was not on the ball it should have been because of the transmission problems. that series had ended the newer cab lay outs was not the best sometimes i think that the designer threw the buttons in the cab and where they landed is where they put them. not enough effort was put into the design. i would say a very poor effort was put in to designing the cab
