With the full release of Quick Fixes of the banlist, we can start to see SPYRAL's full potential, that once reigned over the TCG as a Tier 0 deck. SPYRAL is a very versatile deck and can run almost anything from Tearlaments, Danger?!, Codebreaker, P.U.N.K. to Ishizu's in a 40 to 60 card deck. It has been topping on occasion over the past year, but never really stuck its landing on the meta. Even with the release of Quick Fix, don't think it will change, but it will definitely be more robust.

Anyway, I've made this guide to show the most basic SPYRAL deck with its most basic combo, which can be devastating on its own right. Since we can add any trap from the grave to our board, it is extremely flexible. For example, we could add Macro Cosmos, or Non-Fusion Area instead of Anti-Spell Fragrance to shut down our opponents. Anyway, if you want more detailed SPYRAL guides and decklist, ones that might harness the power of other engines, you can always check TwoTone's channel.
If you want to see an slightly older and more budget version of this deck on ladder, you can check out this video: • Learning: SPYRAL | YuG...
Disclaimer for these Basics guides:
1) We will ignore the opponents' hand, unless we need them to do something to show parts of our combo.
2) The searchers specified will be able to kick-start the combo by fetching starters. It is possible we use search cards later in the combo that aren't specified in the searchers at the start (e.g. SPYRAL Double Helix can be considered a searcher for putting Quick Fix on board).
The YuGiOh! Basics Series is a series of videos where we elaborately walk through different combo lines and combo stratagies for different decks. Aiming to inform beginners of the deck, or just beginners to YuGiOh! in general and we do this in YuGiOh! Master Duel, even though most combos work fine in the OCG/TCG fine too. We're hoping that these guides will give you the confidence of playing with a tier 0 deck, even though it is ranked slightly (or vastly) below that and not, as Seto Kaiba had put it, be a third rate duelist with a forth rate deck. Be as Yugi Moto, play and learn and believe in the heart of the cards!
