Legacy and greatness comes only with longevity. Alex Ferguson 26 yrs at Man U, 38 major trophies. Didn't win anything in his first 3 seasons. 4th season won F.A Cup. Then went on to win 13 Premier Titles, 5 F.A Cups, 2 Champions leagues, European Cup winners cup, Super Cup, world Club Cup. First to win treble. Brian Clough, Not Forest. 18 years. Took them from 6th from bottom of division 2 in 1975 to winners Division 1 in 1978. Followed by 2 consecutive European Cups and 4 league titles. Real success can't be done by just bringing in say Conte and just like that win every game and become best team in the world by the end of the week. It doesn't take having thee11 best players in world. You need, good players, a great playmaker, a great goal scorer, a tough defender but you also need the right ingredients of players that needs to be put together over time as it grows, the right characters hard workers, comrades a family, tough fighters, blend of young talent old wise experience. A manager who has the right identity for tie club then it takes time to piece together nurture it see it grow and come together til you feel you got something special happening. Stability longevity. A manager that can find the right seeds, plant them take car of them while they grow and see them all flower You can't keep changing the landscaper its just going to stay at the same early stage whilst the garden gets old and dated. Never completing anything worthwhile. The Board have found a manager who's energy and identity aligns with the living energy of the life of the club that has manifest through it's history. Bill Nicholson developed one of the most celebrated teams in English Football history winning the double in 1960,1961. 38 years player and manager at Spurs winning 9 major honours as a player and 8 as a manager. Tottenham are a great, legendary historic club. The first British Club to win a European Trophy. European Cup Winners Cup, the first British Club to win 2 different European Cups, with the Eufa Cup. Ange is having to do an entire rebuild, put the right ingredients together, make something special, he has to be allowed to take his 3 or 4 seasons to be the one to get the fruits of his work. Tottenham need to lead a new way where managers are once again able to create and build legacies that echo through the history of the game like the managers and teams of yester. No manager these days can ever have a legacy because if in first season lose six games in a row with the same personnel and mentality at the club and not allow the cook to put together his ingredients then what's the point in any of it. I want to see Ange here for at least 10,15 years. At least. We know season 1, season 2 there's going to be losses and no expectations we knew that, we accepted that considering the few years we've had before that. We brought him in we understood we were in such a state we weren't expecting for trophies and titles for a few years, we understood that when we experience bad days on the early period in this journey it's ok it's going to be that way as we were in it so bad. But we should enjoy the journey, bright and glorious days are ahead. We've got the best man for our club. Ange is Spurs. To Dare is to Do. Every so often there's a certain atmosphere or buzz felt around a manager and a club that you just know something special is happening. You could feel it when Clough joined Forest, when Ferguson joined United, when Mourinho joined Chelsea. You knew something historic was in the making. I feel the exact same thing around Ange.

9:15 What is he saying??? If managers, coaches, and players can't control what happens in the game, what's the use of all the training, planning, and the teamwork? The suggestion about not playing from the back until Vicario is back is actually not a bad idea. Some teams just play from the back no matter what - that is suicide sometimes. It feels like that if it's not so comical.
