The majority of pundits are just failed managers or those who don't have it in them to even have a crack at the toughest job in the sport. Anyone can give their opinions on football. That's an easy payday for ex-players. Actually putting the work in like Premier League managers, or La Liga managers or any managers at the top level, there's a huge gap in quality and standards and an understanding of the game to get to that level.

As a Tottenham fan of 41 or so years, I can’t remember a more scintillating goal fest style of playing and this is with several major injuries to first team players and a couple of 18 yr olds and young players a little older standing in. Just remember Ange has won trophies on 3 different continents, unless Carra and other pundits have not only their pro coaching badges but have won trophies then they need to show some respect.

I loved Carragher back in the day as a defender, one of the best in the world at his peak, but now he's a presenter, not a footballer, and so spitting at little kids because your team lost is seen in that light instead. Would you see everyone the same despite them spitting at kids because they can't control their emotions? Obviously there are far better pundits in the world, because he was a player not a pundit; the chance he is great at both is matched against the 100% fact he spits at children when he gets upset.
