Pro tip. Wrap your sun shield window covers with 4 inch gaffers tape from Amazon. It's balck and will help keep them in

Been watching many of your videos today as I have been obsessing how to turn my Prius into a camper. So many great YT channels, but yours has many ingenious solutions, especially the middle section platform. Been trying to figure out where in the car could it possibly feel more spacious, which takes headroom. I hope there is a detailed video re that build. Love how you kept the seat back (the bigger section) and especially what you did with the side cabinet/with hooks on back side, in your 2024 newer build. THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!

Well that brought a smile to my face 😁. I'm glad you are finding them useful!! Currently don't have a video of how I built the platform - but I took out the bottom part of the seat and the back of the smaller section. Then I just used wood and fasteners (screws) to make the platform! (and did not make anything permanent, no holes drilled).

@@HowNoahSeesItThanks! That’s enough info to begin. I will probably take my front passenger seat out and tint the front windows out, limo style. Yes, “illegal” but I hope with all the real illegal stuff going on, they won’t bother with me. Wishful thinking 😂.

@@janeorganizes2024 good luck! Yeah I have never had an issue with my illegal tint (but mine are in the back). You gotta bypass the air bag system if you take out the front seat (if u want the error code to go away) (and idk about safety). Quite complicated that I personally gave up and didn't wanna risk safety. Do some research on it!

That black plastic square right next to your cigarette lighter port can be replaced by a dual usb port. Easy install sold online, Amazon, etc

Nice video man, I see you wrapped the back up cam wires around the door jam. It was a PAIN! Getting them through the factory grommets. It would also be great to see how your gaming setup works. I do mine in the back seat as well like I think you do.

@@HowNoahSeesIt if you want check out my latest video upload. I've been living full time off my 07 Prius for 4+ years now. I have heated shower, washer and dryer, in the trunk so I can use them immediately. I also have a dance floor, yup you red that right, a dance floor with room for 3 to 4 people to dance. And my Prius tent is inserted from inside so when I open my trunk it automatically sets up so I can stand up inside it, I'm only 5"6. I also have real refrigerator, large TV, and my frying pan can cook ANYTHING using 12v, even thick steaks, no need for propane gas. The challenge for me was making effective clothes dryer, it took me a while but I finally made them last year and just published the video few days ago. My Prius is also lifted for off road, cost me $140 for parts and I installed it myself. Everything's cheap, anyone can copy my set up.

My husband installed my 1000 watt inverter in my 2008 Prius - wouldn't have done it by myself either. I kept my spare tire. Hope you have AAA or similar insurance in case you get a flat tire or something. Thanks for the ideas from your video - much appreciated.

The Weathertech rain guards....I had two sets. The only one that has stayed on is the passenger door. All others fell off. Expensive. I'd like to know how long yours stayed on, if you did anything special to make them stick, etc.???
