Actual beginning (Broadcast time) - 10:01 Qualifying Highlights - 14:11 Formation lap - 32:10 Green Lights - 39:30 Silverstone Circuit Northamptonshire, England 17 April 2016 "It was a cold and snowy day..." After snowfall in practice, the first race of the season begins with the Toyota switching from a 3.7L NA V8 Petrol + 6MJ Supercapacitor for their previous car to a 2.4L Twin Turbo V6 Petrol + 8MJ Battery. Audi opts to keep their proven 4L V6 turbodiesel but switches to a 6MJ battery instead of a 4MJ flywheel. Both teams redesigned to combat Porsche's 919's winning streak at 2015 and win Le Mans. While in the LMP2 category, there's the new entry with Manor Motorsport joining in the fray with two Oreca 05's and Morand Racing partnering with the Mexican RGR Sport. (Edit more info here) The biggest news in GTE is, of course, the debut of the GTE-spec 2017 Ford GT as well as the new Ferrari 488 GTE and refreshed Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE. Three of which will be contesting with each other while the Porsche 911 RSR will be not updated till 2017. For those who are experienced with endurance racing will be surprised by the result with Rebellion coming in 3rd after Audi was disqualified due to the car's skid block being too thin and not meeting up with the LMP1 standards. For others who just joining in, this serves as an "amuse bouche" for the WEC season. Spa-Francorchamps is next. You can find the ELMS races on the official channel. Searching "European Le Mans Series" should give you the channel name. The only race from 2016 missing, is Silverstone but the other 5 races are there.

I don’t think it’s fair the teams and captains and pit teams are allowed to watch the race and hear the commentary and all the stats. If anything just show them raw racing and no commentary. It’s unfair
