You can hear the race director in a panicking mode 5:18:45 The nasty crash finally got a replay, glad everyone involved were alright but seriously.....why were the cars still going fast?!! The yellow flag was clearly being waved!!!

I was watching the race live on KZbin and instantly suspected something bad had happened. Whenever there is thought to a bad, possibly life threatening incident, they never show anything unless the parties involved are confirming as OK with no life threatening injuries. The chat board attached to the broadcast finally came up with a description of what happened and that the drivers were OK.

I watched the replay again at full and half speed. There were NO yellow flags waving. This was against the back stretch pit lane wall.. At 5:18:55: if you slow to half speed there are what MAY be yellow lights flashing but they are behind the pit wall and not in the driver's sight lines. They can easily be missed especially with the cars driving at high speed in a pack. It is ONLY with a full course yellow that the drivers get a yellow indicator on their dashboards. At 5:19:15:, there are two men in green behind the pit wall, but they are turned AWAY from the track. Marshals were yellow or orange so these may have been security personnel. At 5:19:33, there is a man waving a yellow flag, but he is WAY to the left side, almost behind a bridge and WAY out of the sight lines of the drivers. It is not a surprise that so many drivers never saw the so called yellow flags. This was the case of a car pulling out unsighted to pass another car, not able to see the stalled car in time. This happens. It is not the fault of the driver in the Bamber car who hit the Aston.

@@Luney_0296 That's not true. Only Pro drives only overall. Look at the standings. There isn't any Pro-standings. So for example: saying that Pro-diver X is 5th in Pro-class hasn't any meaning if he is 7th overall. He will only get points for 7th place. That's the problem.
