More like, its easy to play on the counter as it doesn't require much effort. Its the reason why Solskjaer was moderately successful for a brief period. I don't think they are ignoring that, its very obvious. Two things can be true at the same time and as a manager there is the reality of the team you are managing. I haven't quite understood his comments about training and not having enough time. Emery was in a worse position taking over at Villa and got a tune out of the players straight away. The Prem is unforgiving and fast moving and there is the possibility that Amorim isn't cut out for it. I think there should be a sharper look at his tactics for each game. Manchester United fans blame Ronaldo for no reason
@Redonepunch2 сағат бұрын
I mean he’s not teaching them much because the club is so poorly run that they didn’t fire ten hag during the summer and bring him in. They waited until the busiest time of the season to do that.

If Manchester United accepted Amorim nonsense, then they should have saved their money and kept Ten Hag

it is odd he has taken over utd from ETH and made them even worse lol but i do think he will do a proper job and get them back to being in the top 4 and onwards

This club kills coaches career careful as a coach u must choose wisely I've seen better coaches went there and left with water in the face .Watch this for man u to revive as the coach said accept that your teams what it is fix 100 percent correct

How do you expect any manager to come into Utd with the same crop of players and instantly start seeing results?- He needs time to recruit the players he wants and implement his philosophy- it’s football not magic
@SMGTTYСағат бұрын
All they’re saying is…Amorim has had chance to see who can and can’t fit the system. 90% of them cannot play it. Now he should change his formation to one that suits the players he has available UNTIL he has bought enough players to go to his formation. Right now, the aim is to get wins not play your system.
@timphillips995412 минут бұрын
The fact is the Brighton squad is just far better and no manager is going to fix that this season.

Chelsea won the league with 3-4-3 system under Conte, not to forget champions League with 3-4-3

It's not the formation at fault, just the players who can't do it.

How many managers have united got over the years ? It's never been a manager problem. It's the players and the toxic owners.

As a liverpool fan...i dont understand how Nicol can say Brighton are bang average...they might have had a dip in recent games but they are anything but bang average...A very good team who can beat most teams in the league including Liverpool....but more to the point Amorim saying his team is the worst in his ckubs history is an amazing statement...never heard any manager say such a thing...this could be the beginning of the end....hes already said he wont change his style...problem is his club already spent loads on this team...and players he has dont seem to suit his system...

Is it some kind of politics going on in Manchester? There were so MANY available good coaches in the name of recently retired players who were great in their day, and would've done a great job at United. But nooooo, they wanted Amorin. There's Zidane, there's Henri Titi, the Iniesta, there's Del Piero, There's Paul Scoles, there's Giggs, ..... Get somebody in there who knows Manchester, either because they played for them or against. This is crazy. And the funny thing is when these players leave to go play for other clubs, they perform just fine.

@keithbrown430043 минут бұрын
As a Man United I like Amorim as a coach ,but he is naive. The one constant in life is "change". Saying you are not going to change is not caring about the results of the game. That is negligence at the highest level of any profession. Getting points on the board is the objective of every game. He can eventually implement his structure, but results is what counts right now. Don't be an Ange.

If he has to change his system because this squad is not good enough then what is the point in bringing and keeping him. We all saw his sporting and how they played if he has to change his system because these players are not good enough then what is the point of keeping him. And who are this pundits who have no coaching experience giving lectures to another manager. Go get a life.

I feel sorry for the coach. Same players, same problems. What was going to change? They pick and choose games they want to turn up to. They did it with Ole, Ten Hagg and now Amorim. It's easy for him to school them, but at the end of they day if they "forgot" how to win games, what is he supposed to do?
