I like the way you restored the bike. At first I thought oh great yet another boring retro rebuild but your artist mastery gave it that how it was era but with the look most modern or younger generation would opt for. Great work. Only well kept vintages should be kept true vintage all the others are nothing but junk waiting to be scraped unless someone comes along sinks money into that restoration and so what's the point of keeping it as it once was when actually in those times as is with now people who bought their bikes would have added their own unique schemes to them. It's part of the joy of riding. Have fun keep it real.

Gorgeous. The bike too. Very detailed work. Didn't know the rubber ray gun was the air filter housing/box/tube. How do you remember how everything goes back together? Prior experience? Shop manual? Photographic memory? Old fashioned way (laying parts out in order of disassembly)?

A lovely restoration. It would be nice to know what was replaced or reworked (cylinder honing etc.). Why don't you jet wash the bikes before working on them, it would mean a lot less dirt in the workshop and easier to see what the condition is like.

0:15 Removing rusty bolts from the collector is not that quick. When it breaks off. You'll waste a few hours. Sometimes you need to heat it up
