Lasers are there to make faster casting, it reduces CD and Cast Interval The wand with extra spell(s) on hit cast really like that and Wand Spirits like the targeting

The extra space stones. Since they themselves take up space, the math is a little more complicated. A normal stone adds 2 extra spaces not including the 1 it takes up itself and removes 25% damage. So a level 2 stone gives +3 slots and is a little more kind with the damage reduction. Meaning the 3 stones gave you 6 and reduced damage to under 50%, while the single lvl2 stone gives you 3 spaces and reduced your damage to 80%. TLDR, you lose 3 spots. Overall, while it may have minimal short term loss in dps, I don't think it is ever worth worrying about if you want to combine or not. Also if you are not worrying about damage, then most of the spell effects on that wand can just be taken off as they are not effecting the amount of poison stacks anyways. Also it is worth noting that in all my testing adding a storage stone is always worth it. You always end up with more damage than before.

I think you guys' chemistry has really improved since the move. Maybe even better than before. Plus hearing James swear more often makes me laugh. Assuming this works like Noita, for a single spell you want cooldown. Cast delay is for between multiple spells on the same wand edit, 13 hours later: they sure did add a lot to this dang game since the demo

yep, that's how it works, so if you get 2 of the same spells and your wad has lower cast delay than cooldown (assuming it doesn't have multicast and has room) it's better to put a duplicate of the spell

Lil advice, the automatic navigate mod is basically a requirement for serpent builds. add a ttwo star split and few multishots and itll turn into a cloud of snakes, which when given poison, stack like crazy

I had an amazing build, unfortunatly without poision girl, with a seeking poison snake. Very powerful with its rapid enemy hit rate infinite innate pierce and long life.

They had a chance for seeking once or twice, i did wonder if they should have considered taking it. I wonder what wins when orbital meets seeking

@@glenmcgillivray4707 Seeking 100%. Orbital every second about your snake goes through the enemy, with seeking your snake just lives in the enemy fill time, like 10 times as much damage. But for the full effect you want quite a lot of seeking so the snakes can turn on a dime.

Whoa, the main menu screen is way different from how it used to be. I like the new look, honestly! [Edit:] As a reminder, generally speaking, a given instance of a spell projectile can only have one of the three Common-Rare Element effects (the yellow slow, green poison, blue frost) at a time, so the cold snakes didn't poison and the poison snakes didn't freeze. It may have been better to give the frost to the second wand. [Edit 2:] As a bonus tip, the sword while Hovering will still eat (or at + or ++, reflect) the hostile projectiles it does while swinging, which makes that combination very solid indeed. [Edit 3:] By the way, the old dude has an upgrade he offers for a shop reroll interactable that is free but limited in its number of uses. Speaking of the friendly NPCs, I'm surprised James remembered the voices he did for the ghost & old guy... or did he just go for the same voices by coincidence?

16:52 -1 Key :P 1:07:55 You've seen AutoNav in shops three times, which means if you could have bought them all, you coulda had an AutoNav+, which would have had less duration, but would auto-home onto enemies instead of needing to stand near them to hit them with your actual damage. Interesting hindsight kind of detail, sadly. 1:08:15 AutoNav is a Rare while Snakes are a Common, so it wouldn't have given a Snake anyways.

As you've seen from this character's Unique doubling the stack application of poison per stack applied, poison is _very_ good in this game. Especially for bosses.

Something to consider for the future, summoned spell books casting Pop get their own Pop count, taking you from 5 Pops to 15. This can allow Pop to stack poison VERY quickly. Unfortunately, it also sporadically leaves pools of poison on the ground, but I'm not actually 100% sure what the trigger condition on that is.

1:36:21 perhaps my math is bad but with that mimic cube if you combined three poison to a plus and mimic it is that not better than 5 poison? Same damage stacking faster and lasting longer with two open slots?

Watching you leave that key behind at 16:50 hurt my soul a little, not gonna lie. 😢 Edit: Stuff from Red Rooms is strong AF. TOTALLY worth taking a couple of Max HP Rooms as you go to pay for them. Edit 2: That "recycle" button on the right hand end of the Inventory bar is actually the "Sort" button. You can click it to organize all your spells and mods for maximum efficiency. None of them will be taken out of their respective Wands, either, so you don't actually change any of your casting setups, just make things easier to find. Edit 3: 59:27 the Energy going into a Wand's Post slots is divided evenly among the Spells slotted into them. So putting in more than one active Spell just makes all of them worse. 😢
