Great content. I really enjoy watching when someone like yourself is as patient with the animal as you are; especially when the animal wants to not be there at that time. Keep up the great work!! Walter from Arizona

Question, how do you know when one of your horses has thrush? How can you tell the difference from dirt and thrush?

#satisfying? EXTREMELY! #oddlysatisfying? There is nothing odd about this being satisfying. 1) going from raggedy with worn shoes to neat, trimmed, buffed, and freshly shod = satisfying. 2) watching any job done efficiently, thoroughly, and skillfully is satisfying.

It’s supposed to show how well the shoe is matched for the shape of the hoof. He will adjust the shoe if it’s not quite the same shape

Why he burns the hoof with hot horseshoe before set it?
@silverdragon48422 жыл бұрын
I'm also interested to know why.
@jwilsonhandmadeknives27602 жыл бұрын
Neither the hoof nor the shoe is perfectly flat. Burning the shoe to the hoof creates a perfectly mated surface with no high or low spots. This will give the shoe a perfect fit and allow the horse the best comfort.

Does the frog have any nerve endings?
@SuperMir00 Жыл бұрын
It does at a certain point. I liken the frog to human cuticles - they don’t feel like anything until they reach the skin part.

I’d be embarrassed to let a horses hooves get into that state. Do the owners not own a hoof pick? 🤦🏻♂️
