In this video we find an old Chinese D8 diesel also known as D8 engine. This motor for plowing has not been used for many years. The device has rusted and a lot of dirt on the surface is no longer working. we worked very hard to restore and repair this D8 diesel engine and for many working days we have completely restored this D8 diesel engine and function properly.

This diesel can be found in abundance coming out of China. It’s a little like the Briggs & Stratton 5hp in America which is cheap, parts are everywhere, and reliable. It’s a workhorse for farm and light factory equipment.

Showing it not start at the beginning was weird, that just shows that it’s either out of fuel or the line from the tank is bad, or the air needed to be purged, I don’t think anyone who cared about if it ran was fooled, and everyone else just enjoys the rebuilds for what they are

we have seen equipment coming from factories in cases , installed , used and then junked and scrapped to rust, this video was exact reversal of the sequence ezcept it was sent back to factory.

Просто Разобрали, Помыли и Покрасили. Шатун Пистолетом к Валу прикрутили. Огонь. у Них просто Воздух под Нужным моментом подается и лишнего ни Закрутит :D

Nice job guys. Does this style of diesel have no glow plug? I saw nothing electrical on this engine. Does it fire solely on the heat of compression? Also, is the throttle controlled through the fuel pump? I see no other control to vary the air/fuel mixture.

It does not seem like a complete restoration to me, since it is cleaning, washing and painting it. The bearings, piston rings and seals were not changed; only new gaskets.

If they're planning on selling this, then they would be wanting to keep costs down. Right now all they have in it are the cost of initial purchase, new gaskets, and paint. As long as it is pretty and runs, a buyer will take it. The buyer won't know about the it having older internal components.

Questions did you do any valve lapping? Did you check the piston to make sure it doesn't slap around in the bote and add new rings. Did you replace the sleeve? Did you use diesel fuel to wash the inside?
