That angled nut you were referring too would be the quill, otherwise I'm happy to stand corrected but that is what I've known them as. Otherwise this is a great build and has given me ideas for my Amplifier build! Also stupid faces and swears are a usual when bike building so don't worry too much about it 🤣🤣

​@9LivesRides yes Iam my man! currently have a 1993 Mongoose Amplifier on the way as we speak! Your video plus a few other videos give me more confidence in myself to be able to pull it down. Refresh it and get it back riding!

@@9LivesRides I don't think we ever did in Aus unless they were imported like this one, if you are in the Sydney area once its done you can come have a look at it if you wish! There isnt too much information out there for them really so it'll be touch and go for cerain things. Luckily I found a group of people who are into these types of bike and are wealths of info.

I use "Simple Green" degreaser, diluted as per the instructions with water. Works an absolute treat and isn't so strong that it affects the parts.
