I own one road glide cvo great bike.. ride is good you have to adjust the rear shocks both settings to really dial it in. With the inverted front forks and the bike feels nimble and easy to flick! Seat took 1500 miles to break in. I will still get a saddlemen seat when they come out. I have khrome werks slip ons with performance baffles basic screaming eagle tune ..Its so new auto tune is not out yet hate how Harley doe's that crap! I hope someone figures out the speed limiter ... Windshield was first thing I replaced it was trash. Wish they had a adjustable windshield like Indian lol. . Indian makes 103hp 113 torque stock around that. I think that might hit speed limiter as well . Harley cvo It hits speed limiter on dyno most tools don't understand that this makes 125 torque at around 1.80 rpm 5th gear pull stock while hitting speed limiter with George's dyno pulls. With just 2 into 1 and screaming eagle base tune makes 136 torque @3.86 rpm 120 torgue at 2.00 rpm thats snappy! Not being able to do a full dyno run is limiting the peak HP & TQ numbers. most will need to graduate basics to understanding that. If It was able to do a full wide open run in 5th gear the peak numbers would be somewhere around 115Hp & 130+ft/lbs stock .. with proper pipes and screaming eagle tuner he guess's 125-130 hp 138- 145 torque with no motor work. When dyno jet finally comes out with a tune this bike will be a sleeper lol

I'm going to pin this, As you are an owner and have lots of information.. I appreciate your insight!! Thank you!! I will say I don't think this is going to be 130-140 with just tune and SE parts. That being said, I can't wait to see!!! Im surprised you use an Auto tuner.. 💪 💪 keep tuning in and keep us updated on your bike!!

I watch him I don't think he would lie . he pulled speed sensor stock 108hp 128 torque at 3.39 rpm .I would not use auto tune normally however bike is so new only se tuner is out so far. I will use dynojet and get tuned! I will share when my bike is done .

I rode the CVO last week and the details and premium look was undeniable. Major dissatisfaction on the suspension, I was expecting a better feel & comfort than my Challenger. The navigation did not allow me to pick route options. It is a beautiful bike in person, pics don’t do it justice.
@Ridingfish Жыл бұрын
The suspension was good compared to their bikes!! If you're use to a Challenger it's a different comparison.. I didn't play with the navigation.. interesting no choices!!

Glad you're home👍 I'm not a fan of new HDs, mostly because of the big money that needs to be sunk into them to make them worthy, ie: engine, suspension, bars and on and on.. These new CVOs are possibly an HD a rider could buy and not have to waste thousands of dollars upgrading to make right....maybe . These is the first dyno numbers I've seen from the new CVO, they are very underwhelming... 😐 On another note, while you were gone my Victory gave up the ghost... I went in a direction I never thought I would.

Rode it at Sturgis. Looks great until you get to the faring. IMO it looks too big for the bike and the headlight looks like it should be on a European sedan. I'd consider the Street Glide if I were in the market. I loved the dash and the torque was real nice, but it seem to nose over around 4.5-5k RPM. I believe a stock Challenger would smoke it in a WOT race.

If you look close I never talk about money, or comparing the CVO with anything other than HD.. It really is about that HD is making big steps in the correct way... It’s a great bike, for sure. I love almost everything about it. But; no adjustable windscreen on a bike that costs more than my Honda CRV. And the suspension is late 20th century. The standard monoshock on a challenger or chieftain performs much better and enables the bike to track much more tightly. Love the vvt-waiting for Indian to catch up! Harley; you’re getting there!

Ok.... So, I kind of mentioned this while you were overseas on almost every channel that did a spot on the CVO. If you don't think that particular bike is very Indian-like, you are crazy !!!! The dash is like BMW's only 1 inch bigger. CVT motors have been around in the motorcycle world for a while. They just came up with their version. I like the new body design on the gas tank & the bags. Robert, on Be the Boss of your Motorcycle, has bought one & TAB Performance gave him a prototype of their smoke chrome on their 50 caliber slip ons, so there are aftermarket piece coming for that bike very quickly. But the biggest thing to me is the price. $50,000+ once you start adding in tax, title & dealer fees. It's a great effort by H-D, but when I can go out & buy a Challenger Elite (yes, my dealership just got one that's not pre sold) for almost $10 grand less or get a Pursuit for almost 4 to 5 grand less & still get most of the features of the CVO. Nope, I think I'm still sticking with Indian & and getting a lot more bang for my buck ! I'll keep watching...
@Ridingfish Жыл бұрын
If you look close, I never talk about money, or comparing the CVO with anything other than HD. Now that being said nothing you said is wrong.... I agree.. the screen is bigger than BMW but is touch screen, i believe the BMW is not still?.. could have changed and I missed it!
@MaxJW-ln4xm Жыл бұрын
@Ridingfish That's a good policy to develop, not to talk money/price. But for a lot of people (even in this price range), it is a consideration. It is ok to compare within the brand, but cross brand comparison is inevitable

Many of the tight feelings and inflexibility of the bike just seem to all awaken. After 1,200 miles my seat started to even feel better. But overall you could hear and feel differences in power dynamics. Additional just being on it longer and learning more the confidence in the bike is better. You feel just more connected and in tune. Like Avatar when Jake Sully’s first ride on the Ikran. Lol. 😂
