thanks for the review. I bought Huawei on offer yesterday (150€). connection was snap with MacBook and iPhone without having to install Huawei app. super comfortable to wear, no more itchy or painful ears. Hopefully, more manufacturers will adopt this design.

I had a credit with Amazon and picked up the Bose Ultra Open for about 27 bucks cash. My thoughts: 1. Comfortable, to the point where I forget that I’m wearing them 2. In a quiet room, excellent overall sound without having the ear canal obstructed 3. In louder environments sound and volume degrades quickly 4.Unusable on a plane 5. The absence of wireless charging is perplexing at the retail price point 6. The noise canceling of the mic for Zoom calls seemed quite good from what others said I haven’t been able to find the Huaweii Freeclips in the US, without going to third party resellers on eBay, but given the excellent mics I might just pick them up, as an alternative to the Sony XM4s or AirPods Pro (v3). Very comprehensive review

Man, it's crazy how many more of these have started popping up lately since moving to the Open Style Earbuds for the first time with the Oladance OWS 2's. I'm not quite sure which brand started the trend but it's nice that the competition is growing when it comes to this style of earbud. I do still have have the Shokz Open Run Pro's that I got before trying out open earbuds, loved the awareness but the sound made it very limiting with what kind of music and other content I was listening too. Whilst I do still hope that the Bone Conduction styled headphones continue to improve, I think the open earbuds are a much better overall.

I have the set, wearing, battery and listning to music is perfect!! .... but calling is bad... just bad! .. hearing the other side is not good outside even with volume on max sound limit(and my hearing is perfect).

I might be the only person that does not like the Tozo openbuds. They just don't fit me well when I wear glasses. Also, I am not a big fan of their sound profile. I might give the soundcore aerofit pro a shot. Great video as always, thank you!

Well, everybody has different earshapes. I find that that Tozo's are the most versatile fit, because they open/ close and can be rotated as well. They also fit me with my glasses on. And since they are so flat they are the most comfortable open buds to sleep in with you ear on the pillow (no ear pain) that I've tried. My go-to is the 1more Open Fit S50 tho.

Thanks, I was contemplating these over the openfit, but the lack of multipoint and bad mic quality killed it for me. I do appreciate the form factor though and I expect Bose to improve with the next iteration.

Great video as always. Very curious on this form factor since seeing the Ambies, though reviews for those weren't very positive. Currently I own the Oladance OWS Pros based on your reviews, as I want something I can wear all day for work. In terms of comfort and sound quality, how do the Freeclips compare to the OWS Pros (or any of the normal hook style open TWS)?

Thanks for the review. The IP ratings confusing consumers because the numbers are separate. Dust rating, where the X is not tested, then the water rating of 4 which both earbuds are identical. They are both a level 4 for water resistance and the number fifty four doesn't exist on the scale

Great review! I bought these day one. it is great, but I feel like my ears are a little big so I don’t get all the sound someone with small ears might get so I wish they were like 10% louder. I bought the shokz openfit a day after I bought the Bose, and I like the sound quality of the Bose better, but they don’t get as loud.

Just ordered a pair of the TOZO OpenEgo. Finding the right ear tip for comfort and good sounds has gotten old. Have a pair of Ltinist BX27s and one ear can be a bit uncomfortable. They sound great with the largest tips. They sound more natural than my SoundPeats TruAir2 with the tips I had to buy to get good bass. So far everyone says the mics on the TOZOs sound really good. I made a video with them to show them to my stepsister and they do sound good.

Nice feature that is not advertised with the huawei is that you can tap your cheek near the buds and it works. Makes controlling it super easy.

Well they are an Open design, so noise cancelling is useless and sound quality take a step back as well for the same reason. But 200.00 plus for these is to much since they will be dead in about five years since you can't replace the batteries or anything else inside.

I watched another video about these earbuds and no one in the comments made any mention of the mic quality. My first reaction was how awful it was compared to what else is on the market and for being $300!!!

Both ear buds were charged to 100%. I took them out and listened to music for sometime. The battery on the left went down to 90% while right showed 70%. After some more listening, the right went down to 50% while left was at 70%. Any one experiencing this?

What they won’t tell you is replacement for a missing earbud is impossible. You’re better off with an apple AirPod at least it can be replaced.

it sucks a lot for me since they do look much better to me... Hook designs are very inefficient with my glasses especially when sporting and they look quite ugly to me. ive very wierd ears and in ears barley ever fit. was really excited for the bose since they look so pretty but the price is rough and sucks to see its just a bad lazy product

@DHRME maby an interesting point of notice if you ever review only white or only black earphones some models example airpods pro tend to look either very good or very bad depending on skin color. its something unique a lot of reviewers dont really mention but thought id share it :) it can be a great plus if they have 2 color options

Don't know if you guys would agree. Sound wise? I LOVE my Cleer Arc ii's.. They sound so good to me I now only use my original Oladance in my car and ONLY for calls. The Cleer ArcsII's for me are super comfortable..good to very good bass..and CLEAR as in Cleer as to mids/highs and currently $169. Rumor is the Shokz can/will distort a bit as you push the volume..not so on the Cleer NO distortion ever. Anyway great review as always!!...I'm a Bose guy btw, but these are too pricey and seem more an IDEA than a finished product. Say NO to Hauwei...not a USA friendly company, my wife is made in China, so it's not a China THING...:)

I have them and they hurt the top part of my ear, I think the soundpeats go free2 are better imo as well as oladance ows 2 for over the ear, but the Bose are just it for me, the comfort that I get from these just hit the spot.
