What can I say Mr. Watson? Just wow. From an American fisherman who fishes Boston Harbor - I WANT ONE!! I am extremely impressed with how much thought you put into every detail (especially the draft beer tap). The only issue I see is female passenger's bathroom issues. Oh, yeah, why would there be any?? No sheila's mate. Haha! You Aussie guys really know what you're doing and how to live!!

I beg your pardon on that. NZ is sovereign and quite distinct from those mainlanders. The current US ambassador to your country is Scott Brown who was my Massachusetts senator, so I shouldn't have made that mistake. I think you designed one of the best fishing boats I have ever seen. The bow rails and lights at the tip of the bow were each a stroke of genius.

Beautiful fishing weapon I love that you chose Evinrude generation two outboards I’m sure you are loving the torque and fuel efficiency. Only thing is I would have insisted on a triple axle trailer for that set up. And I would tow with a dodge Other than that great attention to detail and a beautiful build

A Dodge is an excellent towing rig for a guy who wants to maintain a healthy relationship with his dealer; they like nobody better than the guy who insists on buying a new garbage truck every few years and watching it fall apart. There's a reason that in the deepest parts of the third world where maintenance is essentially unheard of, the only things still running are Mercedes and Toyota, brought in 25-30 years ago with half a billion miles on them.

Create a boat with trap door bottom hull buoyed by 2 horizontal poles perpendicular to 2 long slender black floats, open sliding cage door, put fish bait in giant tea bags inside lowest hull, use black plastic to cover the top of the trap. Open the peep hole to see through the top plastic board to see lots of fishes goes in, close trap door, use wooden pole net to grab fish to pour into second boat floating next to you.

You could have an inboard engine with a water jet drive. However you might lose some deck space, depending on the installation. The good thing about outboards is that they are out the back!

great video, we have 400 kgs of water ballast in my present 19 foot boat, for a boat your size you could do 700 kgs, incredible how much of the rocking and rolling it takes out of a trailer boat experience. like the dual engine docking and backup ability, best bit is the toilet though !

The Stabicraft 2750 carries 500 litres of fuel. The boat is around 3.5 ton, and the Landcrusier pulls it with ease.

Appreciate to see someone else figured out the best sounding gear setup. WSP captain(s) and crew(s) will appreciate me sharing what I found. Bright captain Matt "Day Boat" designer of Creature Comforts convenience, necessity working items configuration as the ultimate setups, from experience. Captain Matt is there more room to take the next "day boat" up a level? You got to love the Ausis Style! I do. Not sure about your ultimate "day boat" platform. It looks tough I wonder if it would stand-up to commercial use? Stabicrafts looks floaties and secure to scoot around set & pick gear offshore, a bit more deck space would be nice. Useful for WSP "Day Boat" trips working until time to offload and lay down on the Mothership.
