I take back what I said in the Discord - this looks like a great PW, or at least a great Nicol Bolas 😜. I'll definitely think about getting him, but maybe not until the next sale. The new NB Vanguard with another PW might be a better way forward. Thanks for the review!

it just dawned on me yesterday that with all the tri-color walkers only THREE have green and only one released in the last couple years. that doesn't seem accidental. I have been dreaming of a Gr/Wh/Blk walker but with how powerful green always is for mana and acceleration, it seems like they just aren't willing to do so. that said, this bolas is pretty fun except for the dumb 5 support limit.

Yeah I speculated in the video that the low support limit was an attempt to balance him so that you couldn't just jam a bunch of nasty supports into his decks. But I agree, I actually knocked him a bit in the versatility department for that reason. I'm hoping we get an Estrid PW since we already got an Estrid vanguard. That would be a new PW in Tamiyo 's colors, and would surely be an upgrade. Also, who knows, could we get a new tricolor Sarkhan in the upcoming Tarkir set??
