“Not that the story need be long, but it will take a long while to make it short.” - Henry David Thoreau I can understand that editing video for brevity is difficult and takes time. You do make it look easy! I picked up a Hyde for $48 CAD ($36 USD) in Black Friday sales and it's pretty good. I can see why you changed out the bearings because I had to use a lot of wrist to open it until I broke it in.

Thanks for that. It does indeed take a long time to make a story short, LOL.

Two years ago I bought a Kubey Tityus and although I like it, I haven’t felt drawn to any Kubey knives since. I enjoy your knife review videos - especially the disassembly part.

Others have mentioned the same thing after getting a Tityus. I never got one of those, but I am starting to wonder how badly they messed it up.

Great front flipper. One of my favorites. Great review Jake.

CM also co designs the Divo brand with Leftyedc. I got lucky, n got my Hyde from WMK on sale plus the 10%. So i paid like $35 (usd). Which is a great price for the knife. I think if this knife was $50 regularly, it would b a better value. But its still a great knife in my opinion.

Thanks. I knew CM worked with others but I wasn't sure who those were.

I think that I found the review better than the knife. I hope the medical hickups/appointments were only checkups and that all is okay!

Well now, that is a compliment indeed. The medial appointments are fairly routine, but I do have a few issues, none are serious or life-threatening. My wife is off work this week, so that is a big part of the reason why this week is so packed with appointments, she can come with me, and one day I am going with her to her appointment. Living in a small town means all specialists take the better part of a day to go see.

@@CanadianCuttingEdge that reminds me. gotta get my mother to the doctor tomorrow. see if some compression might help her ankles and feet - also might help keep the skin out of harms way. she just turned 88, so there are bound to be a few repair and maintenance issues.

PS. i still enjoy the penguin. it's a really good fidget toy. the weight is good, the materials feel nice to the touch, the edge is good for a slow stropping and for reminding me of propper finger placement. also the subtil fading, wear, of the coating on the edges of the frame and lock bar. also, it makes solid sounds. the straight edge might no be the most versatile but it's sharp!
