I tried to figure this out with full T95 Necromancy and Penance Aura, actually mostly AFKed thanks to Dev4+EDev4 and Blood Fury, with a more scuffed Bar, so there's a lot of possibilities!

Try out the following bar for Greg: vengeful ghost -> soul sap -> death skulls -> skeleton warrior -> living death (does not activate for short kills) -> divert (with runes and greater bone shield on) -> touch of death -> volley of souls -> sacrifice -> finger of death -> bloat (doesn't get used for short kills) -> Necro auto (doesn't get used). I got myself a 31.2s kill but they average around 34s. I am using 1 piece (boots) of deathdealer for the deathmark which is usually the 31s kills. t95 for the rest of the armour and weapons except cinderbanes. Blood Reaver, book of chaos (I have found it best against greg), reaver's ring, and I am using darkness instead of animate dead. Yet to put on a venomblood perk but it actually has good survivability without and it might be helping keep hp low for reaver procs. Only using soul amulet so could top out with eof. The only thing is this costs a bit because each divert in the kill is around 15k.

Necromancy has opened up a lot of new boss afk methods. Personally have been playing around with afk normal mode Kerapac. Getting sub 2 minute kills with 0 input both on and off task.

Sucks you can’t really afk at kerapac. Every 2 minutes you run across the arena to pick up loot and then run back. Which normal mode kerapac dropped loot where he spawns

@@Teri_Fiji yeah, best way to make it as afk as possible might be to take a second account and park it at the loot spawn. Not sure if that would work or not as I haven't tried, but I don't see why it wouldn't 🤷

@@TheRealNiko if the drops are like any other item drops, they become visible to others after 60 seconds and despawn after 120 seconds. Again, I don't know if this is actually the case for instanced boss drops as I've never personally tested it, but I don't see why it wouldn't be.

Is the ghost command ability that mandatory? They still have yet to split the summon and command abilities, and you can't un-buy the command talent. There are several afk spots that get diddled by the command.

There's no way of me reverting my own talent point check, but it does add a lot of damage. Feel free to try the bar without the command ability and let me know how it goes

Holy smokes works great but cryptbloom probs isnt even required if you have enhanced dev 4. that perk activated ALOT during the spam hits of the fire.

Vindy is 10K per kill (bosses give 50xp/1000 damage, unlike normal mobs at 25xp/1000 damage)

the boots and gloves are realy cheap compared to the other pices, specialy the gloves considering cinderbanes is usualy used in that slot, and if not cinders i think kerapacs wristraps is used instead.

Contrary to what you might believe I don't no life Runescape every single day ^^. I spend more time working on videos than actually playing the game myself. Videos including brainstorming, focused play, editing, sometimes script writing etc. I also do not like rushing grinds as it just isn't fun. @@ProtoxxGaming Well I killed 800+ vindicta in elder rune and got no lance, I eventually got a Crystal halberd which was better than that since you could augment it and continued but kills were still very slow with switching to elder rune dual wields and back. Not to mention any supplies, and now you can do all of this without supplies. This is the only balance runescape 3 had left and kept me playing it now you can just go do necromancy and get free augmentable weapons that are a pretty big struggle on an ironman then afk the boss without learning the mechanics at all which are easy btw in comparison to harder bosses, but when it's your very first time you really need to practice there before advancing to ambassador. I'd hate to be the one just complaining "oh lets not make the game easier for people because it's supposed to be hard" but I really think that endgame gear should be hard to obtain

@@freatle I get what you're saying, but if its a new account you also need to train smithing, mining, archaeology etc to be able to do the quests and level up the gear, it's not just handed to you - but it is probably still easier/faster than grinding a boss and hoping for some decent rng. Personally I'm glad that I now have access to high level combat on my iron - rather than praying for certain ability/weapon unlocks to actually be able to dish out damage, I can just jump in. You still have to do a heap of quests to unlock rasial, and then you still need to get his drops to have the most powerful gear. But there's no longer any excuse to not get good at PVM, I have access to all of these abilities that would have otherwise taken hundreds of hours to get across different bosses. I love rs3, but I just dont have that sort of time to sink into it like that anymore. I can see how that devalues it in your eyes, but I'm glad that I can finally actually try to improve my pvm without being held back
