This is reeealy tempting me to make an ironman to experience all the quests and experiencing I've done and forgotten over 15+ years ago. I wish they would revert back to pre necro xp rates since over a year has passed for us to experience necro and not need any focus on it.

The settings are so unintuitive… need to make the game ui more friendly to average gamers, miss when you could toggle xp just by changing attack style

I've been a casual player for a very long time and there are many things I still don't know how to do on the game. I did not receive the survey, but based on the backlash, I am sure the players would have been on the losing end of things. I agree with you that it is something they were planning on doing. If they do make the changes you were talking about, I will quit playing the game. I'm not excellent at anything within the game, so it would not hurt me to walk away from it. I feel like I already pay enough (I pay for Premier membership), especially since the prices were just increased.

A couple of things to add for high level: At ravenous ghouls, you can put a blood essence (doesn't matter which one, and you unlock this at the same time you unlock reforged sunspear) in your pocket slot, which causes the ghouls to become permanently aggressive. If you wear at least a split dragontooth necklace and a bonecrusher, you also fully sustain prayer, making this basically infinitely afk-able. For abyssal beasts, the prefered weapon of choice is the abyssalbane 2H. Yes, it only has a 1-tile range, but that doesn't matter in the wilderness as long as you position yourself correctly, since the enemies won't stand behind each other. My iron is using dragon helm, hands, and boots, with zaros legs and a barrows chest, and i crit 14k when berserk is active, while on task without overloads. If you have the abyssal mask, you can request a daily abyssal beast task, so you can take advantage of the slayer buffs. I recommend getting the task from Mandrith instead of Laniakea, since you'll be in the wilderness anyways and you'll get a reaper point along with a wilderness reward chest on task completion.

Been playing this game for 17 years, and I still play daily. Havent done ANY combat or killed anything in the past 5-6 years though. This video made me realize how much combat has changed

Ravenous Ghouls can be attracted with a blood essence equipped many times better then an aggro pot. You can attract all but one in the room if you place yourself appropriately, will increase your exp gains quite a bit.

Dragon halberd requires regicide quest complete to equip it too. Also, when you were comparing the t82 masuta war spear to the crystal halberd on abyssal demons off versus on task, the masuta war spear is a stab typed weapon and the halberd is a slash type weapon. Abyssal demons specifically are weak to slash, so you got an additional huge hitchance bonus on top of the slayer helm when using the crystal halberd from the weakness buff.

I noticed combat guides were missing since ED3 nerf, so this is needed. Others needed ridiculously high slay levels, so everyone just defaulted to the Abbsy

Ngl im getting back into RS3 hearing how the exp rates "early game" are so bad even for shattered world and yet i do like 2-3 hours of magic in shattered world half afk brain off just shows me how different people are these days. Idk I kind of liked just killing random mobs to level up things but now seems like random mini-games and quests solve entire early game and even then people are saying its too slow. Crazy to see.

I know many ppl hate quest, but do as many that the high end quests require. You will unlock so much benefits. Lvling 1-99 just from killing stuff is super inefficient and you will eventually NEED to do quests to unlock stuff you would want to make combat in general better for the longrun

Just afk putrid zombies north of fort with bonecrusher 👀 works good from 60+ all the way to 99 100% aggressive, can afk forever without resetting agro

No time to watch video. But... Cows Guards Hill giants Fire giants Then.... Guthans in bandit camp auto attacks to all 99's. OR at least that's how we did it pre 2008. 😉
