More CGI than they like to admit, particularly in Top Gun Maverick - in many shots with multiple planes, the extra planes all CGI added. In MI7, the problem is more about sheer incoherence. How does Tom Cruise escape the car before the train hits it? It just doesn’t add up. This was not a very good film as a result.

The Mission Impossible franchise is no stranger to car chases but this one has got to be the highlight of them all for me. There's so many moving parts. I've never seen a chase that was this tense yet full of comedic moments. Not to mention the stunt driving is absolutely insane being handcuffed and your arm crossed over your body. I have no idea how they drummed up this sequence but it's super memorable and I love it

IDK, maybe a 6. I'm for plausible realism in action movies. It can be at the edge of what's believable but still needs to be plausible. Not at all plausible that all four doors would shear completely and cleanly off with not even a residual hinge or bolt left left on the car frame. Their speed also is not fast enough to cause that to happen. The back door would have flatten against the side creating greater friction and the two front doors would have then arrested all momentum. It simple stupid stuff like this that ruins a scene.

I remember watching this and feel something missing. Until someone told me that Pom Klementieff character should be the main villain. It makes so much sense now. Like Gabriel actor is great but his script is so weak and he just there to look menacing and evil, he didnt do anything until train fight scene. Also an AI wanting to destroy the world choosing a crazy destructive henchmen than a mastermind agent would mae more sense in chemistry.
