The camera is not perfectly in line with the sideline, and it's not right down at ground level. Is there a photo of that moment from the cameraman visible in the background? He has a slightly better angle.

I think Cueto was probably in touch, but I wouldn't bet my mortgage on it. I'm about 80/20, maybe 90/10. Turf kicked up as his boot digs in, but that stops before it reaches the line. The question is whether his boot imperceptibly elevates in time. (Cricket catches prove camera foreshortening can be deceptive too.)

South African fans often face criticism for being overly passionate - sometimes labeled as bad losers or overzealous winners - based on their comments on social media... And honestly, most of that criticism might be fair. For that, we apologise! What the rest of the world does not understand, is what rugby means to this nation, it is not about a game, it is about uniting and healing a nation, something that the majority of South Africans deeply yearn for. Watching John Smit’s leadership unfold with his real-time comments is a masterclass in calm resilience. He is very composed and articulate leader. The way he rallied the Springboks, especially during the intense moments where England pressed hard, speaks volumes about why this team was destined to lift the Webb Ellis Cup. It’s not just a game; it’s a testament to how strategy, heart, and unity win championships. Shoutout to World Rugby for preserving such an iconic piece of sports history! Siyabulela Amabhokobhoko! Thank you Springboks! Dankie Springbokke! Baie dankie Bokke!

Firstly coaching the boks isn't just always the brains. You have got to be able to handle the pressure of the public from an extremely hostile crowd that if you get 1 bad performance could end up on chopping block. I think if John wants to become a bok coach he should start coaching at junior levels first. Else we might have a Strauli or Tana (coach of blues)
