In this video, Mr Rohit Jha, CEO @ Vikings Career Strategists, will explain all the details of two of the most important and 100% scholarships at Stanford and London Business School.
The video will cover all the relevant aspects such as process and the requirements for these scholarships.
Each year, Stanford may award up to three Reliance Dhirubhai fellowships:
Stanford Reliance Dhirubhai Fellows, class of 2022, will receive financial support for approximately 80% of the cost of attendance and associated fees for a single student each year of the two-year Stanford MBA Program.
Within two years of completing their Stanford MBA studies, Reliance Dhirubhai Fellows are required to return to India to work for an Indian organization. Thus, Fellows must live and work in India for at least two years by the time they are four years out of the Stanford MBA Program.
Upon their return to India, Reliance Dhirubhai Fellows are integral members of Stanford University, Stanford GSB, and Reliance Dhirubhai Fellows communities.
Process and Evaluation Criteria
Apply for Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship Program*
Apply to Stanford MBA Program
Attend Stanford MBA Program
Return to work in India for at least two years
*If you are applying to Stanford GSB for deferred enrollment, you must apply to the Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship Program in the year prior to your enrollment.
Stage 1: Complete the Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship Program Application
Up to 50 Reliance Dhirubhai Fellows finalists will be selected based on:
Stanford MBA admission criteria
Commitment to developing India
Financial need
Stage 2: Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship Program Finalists Complete the Standard Application Process for the Stanford MBA Program
As part of the MBA admission process, Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship Program finalists must meet all Stanford GSB application requirements, including submission of GMAT or GRE and IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL if applicable.
Stanford may select up to three Reliance Dhirubhai Fellows each year from among the finalists based on our primary admission criteria:
Intellectual vitality
Demonstrated leadership potential
Personal qualities and contributions

10 December 2020 Stanford releases admission decisions for Round 1, including those for Reliance Dhirubhai Fellows
06 January 2021 Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship Program finalists prepare and submit Stanford MBA application for Round 2
01 April 2021 Stanford releases admission decisions for Round 2, including those for Reliance Dhirubhai Fellows
September 2021 Reliance Dhirubhai Fellows matriculate in Stanford MBA

BK Birla Scholarship
Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla has launched an endowed scholarship programme of £15 million to support 10 full-time MBA candidates every year, at the London Business School. The BK Birla Scholars Programme is named after Birla’s late grandfather Basant Kumar Birla.
The top 5 per cent of the class will be eligible for the award and will represent the mark of highest distinction among students. While there are more details to be released, from what it appears, the top 5 Indians at the London Business School every year will literally get their MBA free.

Your experience is definitly good and it will add a lot of value but in terms of applying (I mean eligibility), the experience is counted post Bachelors.

Sir, I've been preparing for my GMAT, I'll complete my BCA in 2022. I'm passionate about becoming an investment banker for that I need to study MBA in finance. I don't have certain work experience in a field but I've been investing ,trading and maintaining a portfolio from my early 20s that's all I have now. So on the age of 22-23 would I be able to apply for LBS if I manage to secure a good GMAT score and get the scholarship?

Thanks for the message. For MBA outside India, you need to have a minimum of 2 years of experience post Bachelors. So either you work for 2 years and then go for MBA or you can go for Masters in Finance abroad. You can still become an i-banker.

So it seems I should focus on cracking the ibps or sbi, then I would have the experience of commercial bank then maybe it will not only help finessing my way into LBS but in ibank also. Am I right?

@@anubhabsaha3872 you can do that but getting directly into an ibank is difficult, so either you should be from a top college or you have gained some experience in financial industry. You can work for sometime in financial services and then do your MBA from premier college, then also you can join ibank.
