9+ win seasons 13 of the last 14 years. A defensive genius (hottest hire prospect) hired at HC with legend Leslie Frasier hired to ease the transition. They likely improved interior O-line... and DEFINITELY improved the D-line. I do agree about *most* of the game predictions. For the floor add the other Cards game (a MAYBE explosive offense under an undisciplined QB against a MacDonald defense?!) and the Bears (similar to the cards but with a less proven team). For the ceiling one game against the 9ers though (THIN roster), switch Green Bay and the Jets (a wash, but GB is going to be better than the jets), and I think between the Dolphins, Lions, and Falcons they can take *at least* one one. Ceiling is 12... maybe 13 if they don't drop a game they should win. 8 to 13 wins (average probably around 10-11) is not crazy.

With the new coaching staff, I see a floor of just below .500 (like, 8-9, 7-10 at worst) and with the talent on the roster, a ceiling putting us squarely is playoff contention (11-6 or 12-5). I think the realistic end is 9-8 again or 10-7. But with everything new, I dont mind that. I will absolutely take that in a year where all but one coach is different

I dunno maybe its just me but I can see the floor 10-7 with the ceiling being 12-5. The Hawks have a very talented roster across the board and Macdonald & Grubb will take full advantage of this. They'll turn around this conservative play style that had become so stagnant with Pete, into a top tier team again. Plus I believe this would be the year to surprise a lot of people with this weaker schedule, next year will be harder after we take back control over the division. Theres a chance to sweep the 49ers with both games in our advantage the way the schedule worked out having the Thursday game at home and the away game after a wk8 bye. I also see us easily beating Falcons and Jets but I see swing games being at DET,MIA,BUF,CHI,LAR's and 49ers.

Diggs and Jamal were awful last year big upgrades at safety. Bobby was a liability in coverage because 3-4 relies on MLBs to eat a lot of space in coverage especially was apparent when Brooks went out. Pete used a ton of different formations too where McDonalds scheme actually fits the personal very well. If Geno gets time on offense and the MLB isn't a glaring hole this team will win 10 games easily, over 7.5 is easy money.
