5:20 There were a small number built to order by dealers in Australia, that fitted a Holden VL turbo engine as an option. This allowed a loophole for the turbo mod as ADR27 specified that it is ok, as the manufacturer offered it.

We had a Datsun skyline & an r30 both 5 speed pretty rare now. Two of my favourite cars, and a bluebird also 5 speed a 200b also 5 speed, had a 1200 ute manual, a 260z manual. All reliable.

No way, the rb30 sounds better than any raspy BMW engine.

A. Kind of cool car but the fact it was admittedly a second hand rally car and essentially the whole thing is worth like $25,000 kind of detracts from how cool it is. B. It carries the skyline name plate, but was never designated a GTR badge, which would make it a true skyline. The infinity G35 briefly carried the skyline nameplate as well, but again, not a true skyline as it never received the GTR designation. There are two models prior to the R32, (a true syline) then the R33, 34 and current model. So 6 gens of GTR until the next nameplate GTR.
