THE JOKE First movie is a tradition in our house, 1000000000% worth watchinng But the joke is he made a big deal opening up his Christmas bonus that the whole family had plans for, Clark was going to get a pool for the family with it. But instead of a check was THAT the jelly of the month club. Angry Chaos ensues! This is the 3rd installment of the Griswold family…Natl Lampoons Vacation, NL European Vacation and then NL Christmas Vacation. You do not need to watch the others but there are references that are funnier if you saw all 3. There are more installments after Xmas, but none are worth watching after Christmas imho..

Hey Jackie!! Have u seen the new made from scratch miniverse??? Its hands down my favorite!! Its air dry clay and decoden, whipped clay NO Resin!!! The cakes and cupcakes actually rise when u set them! I was lucky to get a whole set and omg they r all so amazing!! Miniverse went above n beyond imo with these. Its like ur really baking, esp with all the utensils included too! I really hope u get em n try em! I think u will be pleasently surprised. Its def diff than the resin crafts, but be forwarned the cakes take a little longer than an hr to completely make, cookies about 45 mins. There is the cutest bday sheetcake and the most adorable panda cake! Ugh plz get em n review em. Im interested to see ur thoughts. Literally, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is my favourite Christmas movie of all time. Hands Down. My mom and I would watch it every year, it isn't Christmas without it. We even have our own moose cups to drink holiday drinks out of each year. Definitely worth a watch.

I got all but the ultra rare! The jelly of the month reference is what the main character gets in place of a Christmas bonus. He was expecting the Christmas bonus so he could afford to put an inground pool in for his family. The movie is well worth a watch! It’s a Christmas classic in my family

Damn I actually bought two of these tree kits for my friends. After seeing your honest review, I can no longer bring myself to gift it to them. I was even searching for just the tree kits for them thinking they would look awesome. Absolutely sucks that the snow just flicks off when bent. One does have a kid so I also cannot risk the faulty lids seeping resin. Luckily I still have the receipt so I'll get them something better. I know Miniverse has always used resin in their products but it seems like the latest kits could just use a clear glue instead. Unless it's a colored element for the look of the finished product, is resin even necessary anymore? Glue would also bring the cost down.

I've never understood why they didn't use glue. Glue is usually clear so it could be colored with pigments pretty easy. Possibly they chose resin because It creates less air bubbles? I also think it's wild because this product might not be directly advertised to kids but it is literally considered a toy so just including a toxic product when you could easily swap it for something nontoxic is just wild.

Miniverse has a new resin that cures on a different wave length then the older ones, thats why it is still sticky. You Need a different UV light. Also for the mistery ones, you can actually are the color of the ball through the perforation of the tearing stripe!

not sure if anyone has mentioned this: 19:13 in reference to the crackers/bread of the cheese platter 'let's tac' is a reference to 'hard tack/tac' which was used mainly in WW2 i believe when everything was EXPENSIVE (eggs, butter, milk, sugar all cost an arm and a leg), the easiest thing to make was bread. but obviously the shelf life of bread sucks, so they created 'hard tac' which was essentially dehydrated bread. it is in sheets kinda similar to graham crackers (unsure of the canadian equivalent) but they are as hard as a rock. they were baked for upwards of 4 hours to get out every drop of moisture to prolong their shelf life during the war. you soak the hard tack in water before eating it, otherwise you chip teeth. i hope this information helps! and its been a while since ive researched hard tack, so if i get anything wrong please correct me!

Definitely worth a watch, but new viewers need to keep in mind that it was made back in 1989. Some of the jokes have not aged well, and those that have aged like a fine wine may not be to everyone's taste. This movie is hilarious, and a little dirty at times. My problem with the Christmas tree was really that you had to cure it several times so it wasn’t sticky. I’m sure it was just that the light couldn’t easily go through the snow. I had gotten a few mystery boxes to do with my grandma.

The moose mugs have egg nog in them. Also the directions on the tree says to pour the resin into the base so it's like a live tree in water. That's why there's so much resin. And if you have the correct UV light, which is a 365 NM light, you will have no problem curing any of the resin in any of the projects.

Thanks for this video, I haven't started making mine, yet, and now I know what to modify about them (read: where to use superglue instead of resin). Just wanted to say that since there's that small hole at the top of the balls' toppers, you could probably just glue the kits into the balls, glue the balls together and use them as tree ornaments. Or put something else into the balls.

The new items that use resin, now need the new “stronger” UV light to harden all the way. This light is so bright you have to wear yellow tinted protective eye wear. The past UV light only makes resin sticky.

If you struggle to find it, look for the perforation line that you tear, on the bottom you might be able to see green beneath the wrapper. The moose cups have the green base, not the gold and it’s usually quite noticeable under the perforated line.

It'smost likely meant to represent mint leaves. You use mint and cranberries to make holly and berry look-a-likes as decoration on the yule log. I used it recently to do the sae on an angel food cake with whip cream :) Very festive.

I was so excited for the Christmas tree and had so much trouble. I got lucky and had a random sunny day and put it outside for HOURS and it finally cured. It was my first make it mini so not a good first impression lol but I won’t let it deter me from doing more
