Oh, this video is so different to your other stuff that I've seen - love it! I'm cruising on a 4-nighter on Scarlet later this year from Miami, and am SO excited. This ship looks SO similar to what I saw on Valiant Lady - the finishings are just such high quality!

Just off RC symphony , this looks very different . Some parts a bit too dark etc and a bit ferry ish ..Central Park, boardwalk etc on RCC are so good . Lots of good things though on this ship

This was spot on. Bravo! I found the ship choppy myself. However you laid it out perfectly. Spaces around the Wake i had no idea was there. Never realized that the arcade was tucked in the corner either. Again...amazing job. 💫

You should have no issues! It is a newer ship and has stabilizers to keep it from rocking. Bring meds just Incase as you never know. I have done almost 150 cruises and less than 5 have been rocky.

Hey Del, interestingly, the contract has changed but the store and staff are not changing until end of the month. Imagine they will have some good clearance sales coming up! Seemed most crew at the shops will leave as they really like their company and are good going to another line. I was hoping to meet Lucy too!!! I was disappointed she was not there.

Good tour, VV doesnt appeal to me because Im old fashioned. But one thing I realized is that the ship seems dark and not as open to the sea as other ships. That's my complaint about Oais class ships too. I wonder how the funny rooms working for 2? Did your mom use the hammock?

Thank you for your excellent tour of VV. Surprisingly, your video helped me realize the cruise line isn’t for me. I find it to be too casual to the point that it looks economy and most of the public areas appear to be too small, crowded with uncomfortable looking furnishings, and dark.

Fantastic! It is a great size allowing you to meet folks or find a quite spot to get away! Virgin also does a great job of catering to the solo crowd with activities and events where you can meet other solo cruisers that are hosted by their entertainment team. There are solo cabins as well to help with cost! Not a full elimination of the single supplement but it helps!

Sure is! All restaurants are included in cruise fare. Some restaurants will have high-end specials you can buy for an additional fee though.

Appears to be designed by people who never stepped foot on a cruise ship. Wasted, underutilized spaces, strange outdoor seating, no shade, small pool, crowded dining areas look claustrophobic. After your love of RCC, I'm surprised that you're a fan. To each his own, but this video definitely helped me avoid making a booking mistake. Thanks!

Hey Jim! Ha, you are VERY correct! They intentionally hired folks who had never worked with ships to design it to try and be "different". I am a fan of the cruise line (adults only, great food) but am with you that the floor plans, pools, and staterooms could be greatly improved. I do love the RCC old ships. :-)

That is a loaded question and varies by cruise line. General rule of thumb, the cruise ship will follow the rules of the country it leaves from. If you are sailing out of a US port, it will be 21 on the ship. If you go to Mexico, they will gladly serve you on land at 18 and even younger. European cruises is where you see more 18+ people drinking on ships.
