The missing link to basketball training... training adaptability. This is a full shooting and finishing workout with my guy Chandler. This workout takes you through some warm-up finishing drills to work on touch and then some adaptability shooting and finishing drills.
The best players are the most adaptable period. They can be put in any situation and figure it out and still execute under numerous circumstances. This is what we are after overall with training.
As you'll see, the first drills aren't super "game-like", these drills are to challenge his ability to still make shots and finishes under a number of different problems. These are strategically placed and just a small part of the overall process.
From there we get into a bunch of drills for getting to the rim and getting to his spots for jumpers. I utilize a lot of audio cues which we discuss heavily on masteryhoops.com.
